This device is excellent. It comes with an adapter for DVI to HDMI, or HDMI can be used directly. The product allows for 1080p (and above if I recall correctly) with an unnoticeable lag between computer input and monitor output.
This is very nice as there is generally a significant lag between typing and the monitor showing what you have typed (looking at you Tritton Adapters).
The only issue I had was the driver compatibility based on the driver that comes in the box. If you are using Mac OSX do not plug in the adapter unless you download the proper driver from the manufacturer website. Without the proper driver, this device will crash your Mac repeatedly, while plugged in, until you get the proper driver.
What's great about it: Value For Price, Durability, 1080p Capable
What's not so great: Out of Box Compatibility
