Absolutely no reason to pay for more expensive products as these banana plugs work exceptionally well. In fact, some of the more expensive models are so large in size, that you may have issues with the actual "connections" to the back of your Receiver or Home Entertainment System. Just employe these to a 16 guage wire, and then you can "plug and play." Especially if you have quality speakers and intend to keep them around for a long time. And then if you upgrade your Receiver or Home Entertainment Theater, again, plug and play. It makes the whole set up process so much easier and so much quicker. And when you come home with a brand new TV, hey, you really do want to just hurry up and plug and play. It's the only way to go!

What's great about it: Price, Easy to install!

Exceptional sound for a small surround speaker

I wanted a less invasive surround speaker. I am a die hard Klipsch enthusiast and still use my 1985 Klipsch Heresy speakers. So, I opted to install these small speakers built into the wall. The result: not only looks better, BUT THE SOUND IS MUCH BETTER than my Klipsch SS.5 that I was using. So, not only did I end up with a better overall look, but I got an improvement in sound quality. This is an excellent speaker if you want to install the speaker into the wall, never have to worry about it again, especially if you can hardwire the connectivity one time, mount a wall bracket, employ the banana plugs, and then you're good to go for the next 20-30 years! And you can paint the speaker rim and grilles to match the paint color on your wall. Outstanding.

What's great about it: Sound, basically hidden, blended into the wall.

What's not so great: Painting the grilles, PLEASE use acrylic spray paint, and go with a very light coat.

I would recommend this to a friend!
