MacBook Air features up to 8GB of memory, a fifth-generation Intel Core processor, Thunderbolt 2, great built-in apps, and all-day battery life.1 Its thin, light, and durable enough to take everywhere you go-and powerful enough to do everything once you get there, better.

This is THE laptop

I will start this review by saying I am admittedly an Apple fanboy. I own many Apple products, but have avoided their computers. Its not that I don't love the MacBook, but for 1/3 of the money you can buy a laptop at BestBuy with Windows. I don't use a laptop enough to make that price worth it. There are times when I just need a reliable, fast computer. That being said, I hate the new Windows OS. After frustration with Windows 8 and then 10 I decided to save my money and buy a MacBook. I chose the Air because it was cheaper and I didn't see the value of the retina screen on the regular MacBook. Personally, I use my laptop for web browsing, spreadsheets, and light computer tasks (non graphically intense). This computer is as fast as I have ever seen. It boots up in seconds, shuts down in seconds, and all the programs just work...right away. That sounds absurd, but as anyone who has used a PC can tell you...that's not what I am used to. The build quality of the computer is excellent. I have had cheap laptops where the keys have fallen off or the hinge has degraded in a few months. I didn't care because they were sub $300 laptops. Save your money and buy a Mac. I have no doubt this will last significantly longer than my previous computers and will continue to perform well for what I need.

Many Upsides, Few Downsides

Let me start by saying these headphones sound great. I think that they feel fairly comfortable and they completely block out noise. I use them primarily at the gym and it is really nice to not have to listen to the techno music they play or hear people talking about nonsense. That being said, the headphones tend to be on the heavier side. In addition, I find that if I don't wear a hat with the headphones on they slide around a bit. It would be nice if they fit a little tighter. I also find that wearing these for extended time tends to be hot and a little sweaty. That's likely due to the material they used on the earpieces. The sound quality is excellent and what to be expected from beats. I bought these for $250 and thought it was a good deal. Do yourself a favor and wait until they hit $200. This happens several times a year from what I have seen. You won't be disappointed. I bought the blue and grey active version. It doesn't say that they are water proof, but I have gotten caught in the rain with these on and they survived just fine. All in all a great buy.

Very Versatile Case

I really like this case. I was looking for a wallet case/folio to replace my otterbox and wallet. I find it a lot to put both in one pocket. I found this case online and checked it out in the store. What I like about this case is its a decent quality leather folio. There is a cutout for the camera and its not super heavy. The top and bottom of the phone are not protected like a BookBook case. However, the magnets in the case provide an easily adjustable stand for the iPhone 6 Plus. Its a nice feature since the screen is large and great for watching video. Another thing I like is the inside phone holder actually comes out. So if you don't need your wallet and just want the phone with a little protection, it separates from the case. I find myself sticking the phone on the fridge to listen to music while cooking dinner all the time. In one case I watched a recipe on youtube while the case was on the fridge. Overall the case is protective enough for me. I assume it will survive mild drops as long as its not directly on the bottom or top. I'm quite pleased with this case.

Great Photo Printer
on July 22, 2015

This printer is fantastic. It easily connected to my Comcast Wifi and within seconds was ready to go. The printer prints photos pretty fast. I would say 30 seconds or so for each print. Please note, when you get the printer it comes with 1 cartridge of ink and only a few sheets of photo paper. For $35 there is a pack that best buy sells that comes with 108 sheets of paper and 3 extra ink cartridges. Its a really excellent deal. What I love about this printer is how easily my iPhone and iPad were able to print to it. I take a picture on my phone and in seconds its printed out. it is NOT the highest resolution photo printer available. However, for the sub-$100 price and the extremely nice convenience it is an excellent choice. Also, since its small and a wireless printer you can basically tuck it away anywhere in your home and forget about it until you want to. I had a coupon and it was already on sale for $85 so I ended up getting it for even less. Go buy it now.

altering scanned document

Can scanned images on the Canon - PIXMA MG5620 Wireless All-In-One Printer be altered before printing or saving as a new document?
Jack
Typically you would need to export the raw data from the printer to a photo editor. You will likely need to save it then open it in another program. On windows there is the basic photo editor, or you may have other software you could use. From there you can print the edited image or save it for later.

Will most printers be windows 10 compatible?

I use 2 printers. One I bet HP will release an update on it to make it windows 10 compatible since it can also scan and print wirelessly. The other printer I use at my house is a HP Deskjet D1520 i think. I was wondering if it is best to begin looking around for a new printer to replace the HP Deskjet printer since it only prints using a USB cable.
Dylan,
I would hold off buying another new printer. If its USB there are usually standard drivers that each iteration of windows puts out. Although some printer specific software might not make it, its a safe bet it will support typical printing tasks. I don't know the extent you use your home printer, but unless you do a lot of heavy graphics or projects it may be better to just hold off. Windows does a few things well, and legacy device support has been pretty decent in my opinion.
