I pre-ordered the game, paid full price. For me, it was totally worth it because I'm a HUGE Wolfenstein fan, dating all the back to the early '90's when I was a kid. However, some won't be able to justify the $60 price tag for a 15 hour game.
There is no multiplayer. This is not a problem with me, as it's nice to see an FPS once in a while that only has single player, because usually this means the developer spent more time on making a good story rather than building multiplayer maps.

As with any new console, the games and the technical prowess always take a couple of years to really start hitting their stride. We haven't even come close to seeing what this console I capable of yet. Don't believe me? Go see what Call of Duty 3 looked like on the 360 and PS3. Also, there aren't many games available yet, but that will also change in a couple of years. Right now, it's more expensive for the game developers to make games on this console, so most of them can't afford to churn out 5 games per year just yet.
Now for the good stuff. The console can hook up to your cable/satellite set top box. You can control almost everything with the Xbox, except for DVR controls (you'll still need to use your DVR remote to do this). What's a nice bonus with this is that you can watch TV and play games at the same time.
The Kinect may not be something you'll use to play games, but just the ability to bark out commands without having to navigate menus is such a great feature, one that many are going to miss out on with the Kinect-less Xbox One coming out later this month.
Apps, movies, music, and even games are all available for download through Xbox Live. Apps like Watch ESPN, MLB TV, and Twitch are all here, along with your usual like Netflix, Hulu, and many others.
The games available right now are anywhere from average to great games. Titanfall is definitely one of the best if you like to play competitive online shooters. The graphics in this game are some of the best on the console.

I am a very happy owner of this tablet/laptop hybrid. It has full windows, so anything is possible. The touch screen works perfectly (I'm writing this review with the touch-screen keyboard).
I have owned this tablet for 6 months now, and have never had a single problem. The keyboard does feel a little flimsy, but it still works just fine. The tablet itself feels more sturdy, but don't go dropping it anyway, just to be safe, lol.
One thing most people don't know is that even though your phone charger and this tablet's charger fit the same, you aren't supposed to swap them. Not only is there a good chance that the tablet won't charge, but you can also RUIN the tablet because the chargers probably don't have the same charge output. Too many people don't realize this, and then they blame the manufacturer. So please adhere to what the instruction manuals say.

I read numerous reviews before buying this tablet. There were a lot of people stating that it was just as good as an iPad mini. It isn't. When comparing it side by side to an iPad mini 2, it was slower executing applications. I used this tables on a united flight with a wireless network that streamed movies. The tablet struggled to playback a movie. I pulled out my iPhone 6 and streamed the same movie. My iPhone had no issues streaming the movie and overall it outperformed this tablet. As soon as I get back home I am returning this tablet and getting an iPad mini 4.

Perhaps the display resolution comes into play

I've been on airline flights before that offer either wifi service or video streaming service. I'm not 100% sure on this, but I would dare to guess that the iPhone 6 app for this "said streaming service" is streamed at a lesser resolution because most previous iterations of the iPhone (1-5, essentially) had lesser resolution capabilities. Therefore perhaps it streamed just fine on the iPhone because it wasn't set at a high resolution. And perhaps the Android version app DID have the capability of adjusting resolution options because Android is less restrictive with options and features than iOS, therefore perhaps the tablet was trying to pull the highest resolution possible. If this were found to be true, I would highly expect the high-resolution video to be choppy and have lag issues because any type of Wi-Fi or streaming service on an airplane is usually spotty at best.
I mention all of this because I just bought this tablet last night, and holy cow! It streamed 1080p beautifully. I don't seem to have any issues with latency either (loading apps quickly).

Use of an external HDD, powered separately with the Micro USB via OTG cable?
Can I use the Micro USB port as a normal 2.0 usb port with a OTG cable, specifically can this work for a self powered HDD connected via 2.0?
Yes, it still puts out a voltage when it's not being charged, so in short, you can plug a portable HDD into the micro USB port and it will work just fine.
