I have a similar Panasonic system I bought for my home office more than 3 years ago. In a large house now and with my 3 kids and spouse all over it got old yelling for someone. As I need my previous phone system dedicated for work calls, got this new system for use as intercom. The functions are awesome, even though it's running independent of an active phone line connection. My only complaint is you can only expand to 6 handsets total. Otherwise, this system is perfect.

I'm a forceful typist, having originally learned to type on a manual. I've used the celluloid keyboards for ages and usually have to buy a replacement every 1-2 years. Figured it was time to upgrade to a mechanical keyboard. I originally considered the G910 but then saw this G610 keyboard for like $50-$60 less. I'm a sys admin and don't really do gaming so I appreciated being able to save some cash and still get a good keyboard. I have been on it for about 20 minutes now and I love it. Took a little bit to get used to for the first 5 mins but now I just fly on it. The resistance is perfect. I love the positive response. I haven't tried the customizable light settings but the default lighting (fading across and cycling through) is a great touch that I find rather soothing and attractive. I can see how it might be a little distracting for some people though so the customization options are nice. Hopefully this keyboard can last a lot longer. I love it!

I just received my HP 27xi monitor and I LOVE IT! My employer provided me with a 21" 4:3 monitor to use with my Windows PC that I've been using for the last 5 or so years. I work with code and TONS of logs about 12 hrs a day and decided that I wanted to have a better work space. Looked at 1400dpi monitors but couldn't bring myself to spend that much money on a monitor. I went for this HP 27xi and I LOVE IT!
I was very concerned about such a large monitor only have 1080p but now that I have it up and running, I can say without a doubt that this is just what the doctor ordered! Very bright and clear while at the same time, text isn't tiny but VERY comfortable on my eyes for hours at a time! I don't have any problem with pixelation or ghosting (lots of fast scrolling). I'm actually looking forward to getting logged in to work now days!
What's great about it: Large, beautiful design, bright and clear right out of the box

I took the day off from work, eagerly awaiting their arrival. Never heard from them again.Called to see what happened to my appointment. Geeksquad apparently had more important things to do or something as the customer service rep didn't see any notes about it. As of now, I have no use for Geeksquad anything. I wash my hands of them.

We had a visitor from Germany that needed an american version plug. The adapters don't work so well with HP laptops so she decided to just buy a new charger cord. It worked fine and had no issues, which was a relief. However, it's hard to justify the price for this thing.
What's great about it: Nothing to it. Just plug and go.

I recently moved my desktop from my office to the living room for my kids to start using for school work. However, it is an older (6 years old) desktop and only has a 100mb LAN port. Rather than running cable all through the house, I picked this up. I was looking for a reliable wifi connection that would be simple and dependable. This was the second cheapest I could find. I felt that the additional features was worth the extra money. I must say I'm am completely pleased! It installed with no effort and has never let us down. We've had it for a couple months or so now and we're completely pleased with it.
What's great about it: Simple install. Consisten stable connection.
This dual-bay docking station lets you add 2 SATA hard drives to your computer externally via USB connection for high-speed access to your data, media and more.
I needed to create some backups and had drives sitting around that I could use. This Thermaltake provided just the solution I needed. Being a dual port unit is pretty much useless unless you are lucky enough to have a dual port supporting eSata port. My laptop doesn't so I would have to buy a eSata dual port card. I don't care to spend more for a second drive access when it's easy enough to just swap out the drives without incurring the added expense. It works fine so I'm keeping it. Being that it has the eSata port cables included I really appreciated the "out of the box" transfer speeds!
What's great about it: Simple implementation, decent build, eSata cable and USB cables included
What's not so great: It needs dual port eSata support which almost NO laptops have by default.

A great coffee maker!

I've had this coffee maker for about 2 months now and here is my opinion about it. It makes the best tasting coffee around! The 1-4 cups feature does seem to make a difference for the better. We use our coffee maker everyday, sometimes twice a day, but still haven't had to worry about the cleaning light. The controls took a few minutes to figure out but after we did, I find them rather intuitive and simple to work. I love the temp setting for the pot warmer too. My only complaint is that when leaving the hot water dispenser on, the heater seems to need to kick in too frequently. This has me concerned that it is wasting a lot of electricity so we don't leave it on all the time like I had hoped we could. Maybe it needs a better insulation system for the hot water dispenser side? Pouring water in the coffee maker side takes some getting used to but after a month or so I think I have the hang of it and it isn't too much trouble, even though it's not as simple as it should be. Ultimately, I would say this is the best coffee maker I've ever had, having gone through 10 or so different kinds over the last 15 years.
What's great about it: Great tasting coffee! Attractive design.
What's not so great: Water dispenser heats frequently, coffee water pouring is a pain.

I had been using some old Sony earphones that sounded great until the iphone 4. Plus, I wanted the inline mic. I tested out Bose and another pair of Sony. Bose just didn't sound all that good and the mic on the Sony sounded like I was talking in a tunnel. I saw these and they have the sound range I was looking for and the mic is noise canceling. I searched everywhere but no best buys around had them in stock. I finally found them in stock about 50 miles away. When I got there I got the last ones. Boy was I glad I did! They are awesome! My deep base is back and I have the awesome volume I missed in the other iPhone. The mic sounds clear and I couldn't be more pleased!
What's great about it: Incredible sound and quality mic.
What's not so great: The volume control looks beefy but the plastic looks cheap.
I purchased this router back in May, 2010. GREAT throughput speeds! With 5ghz I consistently get 150mbps. On 2.4ghz I get about 105ghz. Setup is a breeze with the included disk. All those lights look cool too! About 5 months later, however, I noticed I was only getting 54mbps throughput speeds though. After some investigation, found that the N transmitter had died. Went online to Netgear's website and found that I had several options to get a replacement! I had to pay for postage but one of the options was for a Next Day replacement ($30 postage and service fee)! Ultimately, I was able to arrange a direct warranty exchange with Best Buy which involved no postage charge (Netgear partnership with Best Buy ROCKS! OUTSTANDING! Thank you Best Buy! Thank you Netgear!
What's great about it: Awesome performance AND support!
What's not so great: The fact that chances are good that you might actually need the fine support Netgear offers! Thank goodness they do!

Netgear has NO support. Their website doesn't even function properly. I've tried to get help from them because this piece of junk will not work properly. They simply point you to other pages! I suggest anyone considering purchasing this to look for themselves.

You just need to understand how the support works.

I have this router too. About 5 months later, the wifi N transmitters failed. All you have to do is go on the Netgear support website tab (for your convenience: http://kb.netgear.com/app/) and select your device. Then click a link regarding warranty service. You have several options to do a Netgear exchange. In my case, I was able to do a warranty exchange at Best Buy directly thanks to their partnership with Netgear. Luckily they had another one in stock! The whole process took me less than 10 minutes!
