Good bang for the buck.

My 500GB internal Seagate drive quit on me after 4 years of heavy use, so I replaced it with this 1TB model. Installation was typical for a laptop HDD though there was no documentation explaining how to perform the initial setup of the drive, (formatting, partitioning, etc.).
I've written a guide to installing OSX on this drive for use by others who may be having trouble with that side of the installation.

What's great about it: Compatible with Mac, Ease of installation, Price per GB.
What's not so great: No guidance for initial setup
