Super printer for home office

I have used this printer for about a week now and LOVE it! I have a small home office but I do a lot of printing and scanning. This thing holds a lot of paper and now I can scan one document while I am printing another!
The ink tanks are a life saver too. The printer came with bottles for the initial fill and then another bottle of each for refill. This is MUCH better than buying ink cartridges every month for $100 or so a pop.
This is a review for the Epson ET-16500 EcoTank that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.
Free yourself from cartridges with this Epson Expression EcoTank all-in-one printer. It lets you scan, print and photocopy, yet where it stands out is with its revolutionary easy-to-fill ink tanks. The replacement bottles let you refill the inks on the side so that you don't have to keep buying cartridges for this Epson Expression EcoTank all-in-one printer.

Great for a household with kids in school

This is a review for the Epson ET-3600 EcoTank that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.
Having said that, I have no problems with pointing out the good AND the bad about the printer. I have used this printer for about a week now. I work from a home office so it has gotten more use in the past week than many typical households will have in a few months.
The printer was very easy to set up and switching from a dedicated hard wired printer to a wireless network printer was effortless. I can now print from every device I own as long as I am connected to my home network. This printer replaced an older Epson that I had added external tanks to. I have to say that it is a BIG improvement to have tanks built into the printer as before I had tanks sitting on the printer stand and they had to be at just the right level or they would not flow or worse yet, overflow. The old tanks held half the ink that this printer does and they would last me a few months before requiring a refill so the tanks in the 3600 should last me quite some time. The print quality is great for documents as well as photos. This thing also holds LOTS of paper compared to my old one.
On the negative side, the printer is a little louder than I expected when starting up for a print job. The printing itself isn't too loud, just the carriage and such just before printing. Also it would be great if they added a document feeder for the scanner. The scanner makes great copies but it is a pain to load source pages one by one.
All in all it is a great printer, especially for a household with school age kids. With ink costing $50 or so for black and the same or a little more for color it takes no time to recoup costs.
