Terrible clasp design
on June 23, 2016

I bought a FitBit Alta for my wife on her birthday, to replace her original FitBit, which stopped working after a year. Her new Alta worked fine, until four days later when the clasp came undone and it fell off and was lost.
The clasp design is really bad. Since the connection is done out of sight, under the band when it's on your wrist, there's no way to make sure the ballpoints are securely in the strap holes. Even though we also bought BestBuy's "full coverage" insurance, it does not cover a strap failure, so I wasted $126 on the Alta, plus the two-year insurance, PLUS the $26 for an extra strap of a different color. Oh, well.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Google Nexus - 7" - 32GB: With more pixels than an HDTV and a speedy quad-core processor, movies and images on this Nexus 7 tablet look razor-sharp and process quickly with little buffer time.

Problems
By Tombstonem from New Jersey
Beware of all Nexus tablets..Flash does not support Nexus 7, 10 etc. (Android). I had to download Puffin browser to watch videos but the quality is horrific...Forget about streaming live...
I have a Google Nexus 10 and love the HD but as for playing video, "forget about it." Do some heavy research before purchasing...
To be truthful, I should have purchased an IPad

What?!
August 9, 2013
I've had a Nexus 7, running 4.3, for a few months, and I can watch live streams in perfect HD with no problems. Not having Flash is a big plus for me, since I'd dump it if it did have it. Flash is one huge bug, which causes more problems than it solves, for me anyway. I'm a professional sports event photographer, so image quality is very important to me, as is viewing video of the events I cover. I did tons of research, and nothing comes close to matching the performance of my Nexus 7. Colleagues using the latest Apple tablets are constantly asking to borrow my Nexus 7 to load and send images that their Apples have problems with.

Excellent Tablet without the Bloatware
By BravoMan from California
What is there NOT to like about this tablet? Well.. besides it not having a slot for an SD card to add on to the available storage. After you start it up and update it (had to do it twice right out of the box). It comes with stock Android 4.3 with not Bloatware in sight. It is fast, easy to use, and just the right size to do pretty much anything. I use this tablet for both personal and business. Plenty of applications to accomplish a myriad of tasks or to waste time when you need to.

No SD slot ... no problem
August 9, 2013
I use my Nexus 7 primarily to view and send photos of sports events I cover as a professional photographer. So not having an SD slot was a deal-killer for me, until I found a simple fix. I bought a short five-pin male to USB female connection cord, which is then plugged-into an SD card reader. About 15 dollars for everything. Problem solved
