With only my traditional 2TB hard drive, it would take 3-5 mins before I could click on anything on my desktop when booting up. After adding this solid state drive the operating system is up and i'm clicking within 30-45 seconds. Windows 8 or 10 will need 80-100gb of drive space, so I would recommend at least a 240gb drive, so you at least have space to throw the slowest loading programs onto this drive. The Sims 3, for example, would take almost 5 minutes to load before, very annoying, but not anymore!
