Good scanner for heavy duty scanning.

I would probably start this review with a full disclaimer: I received this unit free of charge for beta testing. Although I only had around a week to play around and test it, I think I have made some decent conclusions. The scanner is great(Absolutely FANTASTIC) for heavy duty scanning. The scanner is also unbelievably fast. There is also a few software-level features, such as red-eye reduction, etc. This printer is great for photographers and enthusiasts. However, With pros, there is always cons. At the current "sale price" or the MSRP price, it is simply too costly for what it offers. There are many other alternatives of this product, which is cheaper and better priced. As a photography enthusiast myself, I won't be buying this myself at the current price point. Of course, new products always cost more. You are effectively paying premiums for features that is not found on other scanners. I personally just use adobe photoshop if I want to clean up any pictures that might have some defects. But I can definitely see myself using this printer if I were to scan massive amount of photos with some minor touchups.
I would recommend this to a friend!
