Best 2-in-1 ultrabook out there!
on January 1, 2017

Disclosure: Lenovo Yoga 910 as part of the Lenovo INsiders program. All opinions are my own.
The Yoga 910 refines essentially every flaw on last year's Yoga 900; with a drastically better keyboard and trackpad, larger display, smaller bezels, and much better battery life. Even though the Yoga 910 is 13.9" (almost an inch larger), it is the same exact size as the Yoga 900, meaning the sleeve for my Yoga 900 fits the Yoga 910 perfectly.
Design- Just like last year's Yoga 900; the Yoga 910 has the same beautiful watchband hinge. The Yoga 910's hinge is actually much sturdier than the Yoga 900's hinge; which means that moving the display has much less wobble. This year though, the entire machine is made of metal. The sides are made of shiny, chrome metal, and the inside is covered with the all-metal unibody design. Resting my arms on the metal chassis feels great, since it's cool to the touch. Don't worry about the metal scratching; there's no scratches during the time I used it, and it's been carried in a backpack with a laptop slot. Also, the fingerprint sensor is super fast and responsive, awesome add-on.
Performance- It's got the Intel Core i7-7500U processor, up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB PCIe storage. It's as top of the line as any ultrabook this range gets. It zips through whatever I throw at it. I edited multiple videos on it, and noticed no glitching or stuttering. I was able to stream YouTube while rendering a video, and even though the fans kicked in a full throttle, the system still didn't stutter. Speaking of the fans, I noticed in the beginning that the fan was always on, even though I wasn't doing much. There's a BIOS update on Lenovo Support that drastically improves this: I barely hear the fan when I'm just web browsing or editing documents. The only time I hear it is when I stream videos or edit/render video.
Keyboard & Trackpad- The keyboard is much more clicky and gives you more tactile feedback than the Yoga 900. The left shift key is also larger, but the right shift key is a bit on the short side. I got used to it in a few days, and I'm able to type my typical 80wpm on this keyboard. I could see writing a paper or essay very enjoyable on this keyboard. There's a huge improvement on the trackpad. This time, it's a Microsoft Precision Trackpad, which means you get a lot of gestures that you didn't get before. More importantly, scrolling, regular trackpad usage, and zooming is miles better than the Yoga 900. Everything is smooth, just like using the touchscreen. It's pretty amazing the drastic difference the Precision Trackpad has over the non-precision trackpad.
Display- It's about an inch larger than last year's display, even though it has the same dimensions, because Lenovo cut down the bezels. Texts and photos are extremely sharp on the UHD display, and the display get very bright. I had no issues using it near direct sunlight. The colors are vivid, and it has a high contrast ratio that leads to crisp details.
Battery- It has a 78Wh battery, which is 30Wh larger than the Yoga 900, and is considerably larger than the competitors out there. If you're really power hungry and need a lot of battery life, you should go with the FHD model. Lenovo says up to 15.5 hours with that display. I have the UHD model, in which I get 8-9 hours of mixed usage. Of course, the UHD display takes up more battery because of all the pixels it has to push out; but it's entirely up to your needs.
Audio- The two JBL speaker with Dolby Audio sound pretty good. There's a Dolby app preinstalled that allows you to change what mode you want to be in. There's movie mode, music mode, game mode, and voice mode. You can also personalize it to your liking. Dolby also adjusts the audio output when you which modes, and by that I mean laptop mode, tent mode, tablet mode, etc. Tons of modes!
Webcam & Microphone- It has a 720p HD camera with dual-array microphones. The camera looks good; but since it's located on the bottom, typing during a video call would block about one-fourth of the camera viewing angle. Since it's a Yoga, I suggest propping it up into either tent or stand mode, and use it that way.
Conclusion- It's the best 2-in-1 ultrabook out there. It's by far the best looking out there, but also has top of the line performance, a wonderful display, amazing battery life, and an amazing unibody metal design.
I'd say the only thing to really consider is FHD vs UHD. If you need the laptop to last a really long time on a charge, the FHD is the best option because you get 15.5 hours of juice. Otherwise, the UHD is the way to go.

Decent shots, zoom is really cool.

One of the coolest mods in the Moto Mod line up is the Hasselblad True Zoom Moto Mod. The area surrounding the camera lens is made of metal; with the grip being a rubber-like material. It gives you a solid grip when capturing or recording; and it doesn’t leave behind any fingerprints.
Now to camera performance. It’s great in bright light, perfect for vacations or just casual outdoor shooting. It provides crisp and sharp photos that look really great. I noticed photos out of the Hasselblad had better colors than the Moto Z Play itself. And of course, the 10x optical zoom is really fun to play with. The zoom is extremely smooth and seamless, with no lags or stutters through the Moto Mod connection. It has OIS for stills, which works pretty well; especially when zooming. I did notice that it takes a few seconds to focus if you’re using the telephoto optical zoom. It also has a professional mode; which allows you to adjust focus, white balance, ISO, and zoom. In low light, the Xenon flash does a very good job lighting up the room; significantly better than the onboard LED flash on the Moto Z Play itself. However, the small aperture makes it a worse low light camera than the Moto Z Play itself. I’ll have some camera samples below.
With video, the stabilization is noticeably better than the onboard camera; but it doesn’t have 4K recording. Videos come out good; with decent colors; and don’t look too over saturated. Keep in mind that you can’t use the Xenon flash when recording video (it’s way to bright, probably will blind someone). I’ll have two video samples below; one is standing still, the other one is walking.

Awesome tablet, projector is a game changer!

If you're looking for a tablet for movies, games, videos, web browsing, social media, the Yoga Tablet 3 Pro is for you. Performance is decent with the Intel Atom x5 processor. Games run smoothly, such as Asphalt 8 and Riptide G2. Movies and videos played beautifully on that 10.1 inch QHD display. The colors really just pop! Plus, that projector is awesome! Just rotate the kickstand, and a movie is playing on your ceiling! The speakers are also great, there are 4 speakers powered by Dolby Atmos. The kickstand is made out of metal, and is a great and useful addition. Quality is also great. The gunmetal finish with the leather back makes for a solid build, that also feels great. Its also at a pretty decent price, far better than other tablets in its category (iPad Air 2, Samsung Tab)

Good Vacuum - Horrible Robotics
By Ash3
I read the review, I looked at the Cnet review and made the purchase. If you are short on time - the net/net is I returned this and got the Roomba 980. (The roomba luckily was on sale at the time 10%) so the price difference was only about $110, but even if it is $200 more I still would have paid for the Roomba - it is that much better.
The Neato - so I bought the Neato after reading all of the good review on the Wedge design for perimeter cleaning, it's more powerful vacuum (and it is powerful) and the less maintenance of it. The good news - all of this is true.
Here is the problem - it NEVER completed a job in the two weeks I had it. It either got stuck (which is almost always) OR it was so lost it would wander for ever and never find the base. I followed the directions making sure the base has 3 meters of clearance (which by the way the Roomba does not require) and all of the other tips.
The wedge shape, while it is good for cleaning corners is a geometric magnet for getting stuck into things and even some tight corners. The Roomba circle is much better. Also - after only two days of the Roomba 980 - it has not gotten stuck once, ALWAYS finds its home base and cleans the house in a much more logical and efficient way. Perhaps I was simply stressing the Neato. Per my roomba, the area I am cleaning is about 900 square feet. The roomba cleans it efficiently and like a champ. The NEATO always got lost. Perhaps it is due to the architectural features of my home (rounded walls in some areas, alcoves, etc.) What ever the Neato NEVER worked. I cannot emphasize how much better the Roomba technology is. I has a camera - it actually "sees" things, pauses for a few seconds and then adjusts. The Neato constantly just bumped and got lost.
Don't get me started on the Neato brown plastic strips to keep it from going into areas. It would bump and move it before it went away. The Roomba has electronic beacons which work extremely well and you do not have to put out that ugly brown strip. They stay neatly tucked away in a corner and project an invisible beam. Again - you get what you pay for
If you have a big house with a lot of architectural features and a normal amount of furniture. Get the Roomba and don't go through the two weeks of frustration I did with the Neato.
If you get a Robot vacuum, you want it to work, not get stuck and clean while you are away. Neato, while a powerful vacuum, is a complete and utter fail on the robotic part.

Good choice. I agree, Roomba is much better. My Neato BotVac started having laser issues 6 months into usage, my Roomba never did. Once this dies, I'm going back to iRobot.
