I have this center integrated with Motion 40's and FX surrounds and I like the results, perfect match. Having experienced both bad center channels and good centers, this one falls in the excellent category, very pleased with it.

Not a bad little projector when in a really dark room, turn the lights on and it all falls apart. Lack of any kind of manual adjustment except focus is a little frustrating. I would recommend this for light use on the road, but not for the price tag it currently holds, no way.
What's great about it: Compact
What's not so great: Lack of adjustments, not very bright.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had some 8020 towers setup as a two channel system, sounded good but it was lacking in areas. I decided to throw this center in the mix and immediately noticed a difference in the symmetry of sound for movies and music, highs and lows are much more in tune with each other now. I would go as far to say this center is really a must with the supertowers. My only complaint is that it is massive, literally half the size of my BP 8020's and actually thicker, so you have to have the space for it.

Enjoy clear, crisp sound with this MartinLogan Motion 40 MO40GBL 6-1/2" floor speaker that features a 1" x 1-1/2" Folded Motion tweeter, dual 6-1/2" woofers and a 5-1/2" midrange for a complete range of sounds.

Word of caution with these speakers

I have these hooked up to a Marantz 5008 receiver, which is a pretty respectable piece of equipment. After about a month it started shutting down into protection mode while using these speakers. What I found out was (by Marantz) that these speakers, in fact all ML's are, truly 4 ohm speakers even though they say they are compatible with 8 ohm receivers. In short they are power hungry and your receiver will try to push them at 4 ohms eventually causing clipping, overheating, etc. One solution, Bi-amping, Ive never been a fan of that but in this case it worked. I immediately noticed a difference, it was a WOW moment for me, they outperform my B&W's and Def Tech super towers and this point. My Marantz seems to be running cooler now as well.

Originally bought the Samsung 65" 7100 series LED and experienced a lot of issues with the back lighting bleeding through the picture, called clouding and flashlighting, this is a common thing with the super thin LEDs. There is none of that with the Plasmas and once calibrated this particular model really sparkles with deep, rich colors and clarity. The more I watch this TV the more I fall in love with it.

Swapped my Pioneer Elite 43 for this receiver. This one has more options for sound settings and of course more power. Audyssey is great, really takes a lot of the guess work out of it. What I found with the Audyssey is if you are only using two channels you want to turn the Dynamic EQ/volume settings to off, if using for home theater you want to have them on. This receiver is really great for multiple channel Home Theater setups.

I listened to these along side the MartinLogan -Motion 4 speakers in the store and could not tell the difference when he switched between the two, but the Def Tech's were smaller and cheaper. When I hooked them up at home I was really impressed with how they performed for a 4 1/2 speaker. Solid build quality, perfect for rear satellites or even just by themselves, they sound great.

I used to think Bose made good speakers until my speaker guru neighbor showed me what a real speaker system sounds like. They lack a little bass by themselves but I paired them with a REL T-0 and WOW they sound soooo good. Great price for quality speakers too.

Bose has done a wonderful job of marketing their name and that's about it. After two weeks I just could not kid myself any longer, these sound awful, just a tiney flat sound. $600 dollars for these? Come on! I took them back and for a bit more money got a pair of Bowens and Wilkins floor speakers, I truly cannot express in words the difference between the two. Good bye Bose for good. There is a saying in the speaker teck world " No highs no lows, must be Bose". I thought that was funny cause its true.

What's not so great: very overpriced, cheap feel and sound.

No optical in or rca out on the tv
I have a sharp and want to hook the bose system up but don't have either a optical output or input and don't have rca out so I was wondering if i could use a receiver or if there was any advice you'd have.
Those Bose are not meant to be run through a receiver, plus if you cant hook the Bose to the TV then you might have the same problem with hooking up a receiver. I don't know what your TV has for input/output, but honestly the only solution I can see is possibly buying a newer TV.

Issues with audio connection
I finished connecting the Bose to my TV and noticed that if I'm watching television, the Bose system works great; however, when I switch to a different HDMI connection (PS3 or Apple TV), the Bose system doesn't work.
In one of the reviews (http://reviews.bestbuy.com/answers/3545/product/9480411/bose-cinemate-gs-series-ii-digital-home-theater-speaker-system-questions-answers/questions.htm?sort=helpfula) it stated that if I connect to the TV, the Bose system should play whatever is on the TV (PS3, Apple TV, etc.).
So the question is... How I can use the digital audio output from my TV to control all sources instead of having to manually switch between each device? I don't know what' I'm missing here. Please help!

It would be hard to give you a pure answer without looking at it, but if you have the bose hooked up to your optical out from your tv there should be no problem, try looking at the sound settings on your devices.
