I expected better for the price. The preset picture modes are terrible. I had to spend a lot of time tweaking the various modes to get them right. The biggest problem with them was the clarity. Once I got them adjusted properly, the picture was excellent. I actually think the colors look more real and life-like than a Samsung 4k curved TV that I have. I've had issues with the TV shutting off for no reason and the red lights blinking. I pull the plug out, wait a few minutes, plug it back in and the TV is fine. This happens a few times per week. I hope one of the updates fixes the problem. I notice less motion blur than the Samsung 4K so I give credit to Sony for that. Netflix works good as does Youtube. So overall I only give it a 4 because of the few issues I mention. The picture is very good once you get it adjusted. It wasn't a cheap TV so I expected better from Sony. I also have a 55 inch older Sony XBR that looked great right out of the box when I bought it.

I bought this sound bar to replace an old 7.1 surround system. I was pleasantly surprised with the sound quality and the powerful bass. This system sounds great for movies, sports, and regular TV. It is very stylish looking and takes up a lot less space. The only negatives are the small remote which is difficult to see the small letters and I find I have to double push the buttons to get them to work. Also the HDMI inputs are in an awkward position and they don't all fit properly within the space they are designed for. Other than that it is a great buy for the money.

I purchased his to be able to watch 4K from DirecTV, but to my surprise they don't mix with Directv. I can not watch 4k programs from the main DirecTV unit. Surprisingly you can get 4K on the minis but not the main. If I had it to do over again I would purchase Sony.

Sound issue with this TV and DirecTV

I get sound drop out every few minutes or so with this TV and DirecTV with their 4K mini box. I don't have it on any of the other TVs in the house that are HD. I tried numerous settings including using the optical output as recommended, and still have the issue. So I agree with TheKing on this one. I have a 75 inch Sony in the living room with no issues.
