For a TN panel, this monitor has decent viewing angles. Good for gaming consoles like PlayStation or Xbox. Make sure you set your consoles to RGB Full for the black level because this monitor does not support RGB Limited. This means that Nintendo consoles won't look good because they don't have the option to output RGB Full, only RGB Limited.

The picture quality is excellent - 1080 is not needed on a screen this size, so, don't be concerned about that. It has an impressive number of input and output jacks for this class of TV, not found on many other brands. The sound quality is understandably harsh, but it has a lot of volume. The sound quality is not worse than other of this size. I am going to want to attach external speakers. Now, my complaint... It is evident that there is a poor design flaw in the way the base mounts to the set. Without trying to explain why here, in short, even after tightening the screws securely, the set does not attach in a way to be stable, AND, for some strange reason, the screen leans forward creating an awkward viewing angle. This set is going to be used in a small travel trailer that will necessitate a stable base during travel. I've decided to keep the TV because of its positive qualities, but, I am now forced to devise a way to secure the base at the proper angle. The customer should not have to be required to become an industrial designer. Hopefully, my ingenuity as a designer will be greater than that of the manufacturer. If your use will have it perched on top of a kicthen frig or a tall dresser, it should be fine for you as designed.

Hi, regarding tilt I thought the same as you when I first set it up, but the screen does indeed have tilt control (at the stem part of the stand that is pre-attached to the screen). It may seem stiff at first (I worried about breaking it when trying to get it to budge) but it will give, and the tilting action after that first time is smoother. You can see the metal rod inside which indicates a rotating motion.

I love this laptop! Amazing design and high portability; do yourself a favor and buy it with the HP Active Pen to take advantage of One Note annotations or programs like Drawboard PDF to make handwritten notes on all your documents. Also, if you plan on using the hardware to its fullest (in my case, light gaming), make sure to pick up a Cooling Pad while you're at it. The hardware is great but it gets HOT after an hour or so of intense use! Also, note that the Wi-Fi card is 802.11ac, which means it won't work with the older 802.11n standard which is still very much in use. But Windows 8.1 driver support is amazing, and just about any USB wireless adapter you like will give you plug-and-play connectivity.
Great battery life and the keyboard feels great! Highly recommended for students, travelers, and the occasional artist.

Actually, AC wifi is fully backwards compatible with all the previous wifi standards, so you will be able to connect to anything that's B, G or N (both 2.4 and 5ghz) without any problems.

Will it work great with a ps4? How high can I go on the resolution?
This monitor's resolution supports up to 1920x1080, also called 1080p.
