This is our first French Door refrigerator and our second Whirlpool refrigerator. Our first Whirlpool lasted over 16 years and was still going strong at the time of the new purchase. It was hard to think of switching to another brand.
This refrigerator has exceeded our expectations so far. Some people have reported that it is unusually loud but we haven't noticed this at all. One important feature is the ice in the door. After an exhaustive search, we noticed that many of the models had the ice maker in the refrigerator which took up much needed space. The interior is well lit and spacious. For us, one of the major selling points was the 4th door, or drink drawer. We have two teenagers and this has become the most used feature of the refrigerator. No longer do they have to stand with the fridge doors open trying to decide on what to grab. I was skeptical at first but after a month of use, I can say that the drinks are ice cold and easily accessible.
The freezer section is spacious as well and has two pull out drawers that are of a nicer quality than others that we had seen. There's even a frozen pizza compartment on the door. I would recommend this refrigerator to anyone.
