Little tiny controls, black on black, nearly invisible. Presets have a default of #1. To change stations you must start at 1 each time. You want to go from 5 to10 it will go back to 1 and you must advance presets from 1 9 times to get to 10. Assigning presets is a nightmare.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Will this radio get AM stations
Depends if the radio station has an AM component. For example, I am in Philly and WIP Sports Radio HD3 in KYW News Radio 1060 AM.
