If you're going to order this case you better measure your gear first. This case was made for small cameras. Quality is great and there are storage for cards and battery. My camera didn't fit but I kept it anyways to place accessories.
What's great about it: Quality material
What's not so great: Small

Even though it's padded the padding is rather thin. There's no rigidity at all. It might protect your laptop from very minor bumps. The outer pocket is not too secured because the velcro has only two placemarks.. one at each edge and it doesn't really stick well together. I guess you get what paid for. I wouldn't even use it as a sleeve when I place it in my laptop backpack because it's too bulky. For transporting it'll be fine though. Power supply, extra battery and mouse will be a tight fit.
What's great about it: Price, material durability
What's not so great: flimpsy

I bought this item to place a screen protector for my camera's screen. It comes in different sizes but unfortunately not mines. I had to cut it to size but the paper tab that needed to be removed wouldn't come out cleanly and left residuals which was difficult to clean off. The plastic isn't clear but has a slight haze to it. I don't recommend this item. Too expensive for pieces fo plastic.
What's great about it: Different sizes
What's not so great: Difficult to install with the paper tab.

Great camera! Powerful and lots of shooting option
By Hntcs105
Camera images are excellent! Fairly easy to use! Lots of options to address various shooting situations! The Wiz-Fi was easy to set-up and works well. The only thing missing is an optical viewfinder.

Viewfinder

A viewfinder will increase the price of the camera. Since it has Wi-Fi you can shoot remotely with your cell phone, there's an app for that.

Battery Doesn't Work
By Perry
This laptop looks amazing. It does everything a regular laptop can do. The problem, and it's a big big problem, is that it doesn't charge while you use it. It charges while it is closed, but once you unplug it, move it, open it up, and plug it in again, it just dies slowly and it does cut off while plugged in when it hits 0%. Then when you turn it back on, it charges while you use it until you close it and unplug it, then it goes back to counting down until it dies. I have talked to multiple people at lenovo customer support, and they uninstalled and reinstalled my battery driver and the OKO program that comes on the computer. Neither of these worked. It still only charges while closed or after it dies completely. DO NOT BUY THIS COMPUTER.

Only for wireless internet
By RonM
This computer was sold as a student special, and I bought this laptop for my son who is a college student. When I got it home I was surprised to find that it had no Ethernet port. I thought that not having one was absolutely bizarre, and at the store I had no idea to check for that. We still do not live in a world of complete wireless connectivity everywhere -- particularly in college dorms where wireless can be notoriously bad. At this point I guess I have to return it. The dorm wireless is not good and I do not want to set up my son with a kluged solution like with a USB/Ethernet adapter that will transfer slower than a computer with an Ethernet connect built into it.

When I travel and the hotel has only a plug-in internet connection my solution was to buy a cheap small wireless router so everyone could access the net. It's very convenient and people don't have to vie for access.

Nice little 2 in 1
By kanehi from Honolulu, HI
First time I bought a Toshiba and the first impression wasn't good. The first one I got had a red hot pixel and I was debating to return it or get a replacement, I got a replacement and so far so good. I choose the Pentium instead of the Celeron for it's faster speed. It's now upgrading to Windows 10 so I'll add programs after completion. This 2 in 1 will be used for travel, internet and storing pictures/videos. This notebook is solidly built with no flexing of the lid or keyboard. There are no gaps where the top and bottom meet. Affordable and light weight, what else can you ask for, got this on sale for $329

Had this 2-1 laptop now for almost a week and the performance is getting worst with the keyboard getting unresponsive especially the SHIFT key. Also another anomaly is that when there's a scrolling option the screen is like it's possessed as it scrolls non stop automatically and the keyboard doesn't respond. I've done multiple resets and the problems persists. I have a feeling the keyboard's circuitry is at fault and gets stuck in an endless loop of scrolling. And the mouse's performance also sucks as it sometimes doesn't respond.

Perfect Windows 10 Laptop
By FrankRI
I read some reviews stating that the wireless adaptor on this laptop had issues This is NOT the truth. I also was not able to connect to my wifi after configuring the settings. After looking into the matter, I found that the pre installed McAfee firewall was responsible for blocking the internet access, so I uninstalled it and installed Norton antivirus. This is an excellent laptop.

McAfee sucks and hard to get rid of and don't understand why it's included in the apps. Even after deleting the program it's presence is still in the registry bogging down the system.

After 2 weeks of use screen cracked near hinge
By unhappy
We bought what we thought was the best laptop for the money and what she wanted and felt she needed. After only 2 weeks of used she closed the screen put in her backpack and walked to her room, took the computer back out and the screen crack when she opened it back up. Ofcourse best buy and HP is claiming physical damage is not covered but when it is a design flaw, as opening and closing a screen is normal use should be the responsibility of manufacuter. you can see by the picture i attached the broken screen was not caused by a drop but most likly by the hinge or backing while being opened and closed. others have had the same problem. i was told i have to pay over 400 dollars to have this manufacuter defect fixed. never buying another HP if they do not come back and say they will fix even though they have said no already twice.

Could be something else...
November 4, 2015
Could be the placement in the backpack. Was there books or hard objects which could put pressure on the lid? Does the backpack have a dedicated laptop slot with good protection? The picture looks like pressure was applied. I do recommend not to overstuff a backpack.

Third try's a charm
November 5, 2015
Took another leap and bought this model again but went to another store instead to see if my luck would be better since the original store I bought it from had two duds and probably came from the same batch. I'm happy to say that everything is working great! Replaced the HDD to an SSD and it's much improved and updated it to Windows 10 without problems. The big disappointment for me was the included McAfee app, it's a pain to get rid of and even now sill have remnants of the program in the registry and start up even though I attempted to delete it. It won't even delete in safe mode, quite irritating!

Battery life needs improvement
By Michelle
Extremely DISAPPOINTED!! At the start of my Half Marathon the battery was fully charged at 100%, Battery life didn't even last 2 hours before it died and shut down. I was running the GPS, MP3 player, & my Bluetooth headset all at the same time. I specifically purchased this to be used primarily for Half and Marathon races for tracking. can you imagine my surprise when it died despite the Samsung rep telling me it would run for 10 hours before needing to be recharged. Since I was within the return policy time limit I was able to return it for a full refund.

Sounds like you turned on all the extensive battery hogging features. Constant screen being on, GPS and music player will zap the small battery's juice.

Uniden branded version of $25 cam's
By picky
After having several $20 - $25 2.7" ebay dash cams I wanted something with better resolution; as all of those even saving files as 1920x1080 have low res camera sensors, and the video at 1920x108 was just the same as at lower resolutions. So I bought the Uniden CAM250 expecting something better. I didn't care about the tiny screen as I would use it after an event occurred using the memory card. When I first powered up the CAM250 it all looked very familiar - the exact same screens, menus and sounds from the $25 ebay units. I did runs with side by side comparison to the cheap ones and no improvement at all in the video quality. This is just the same as the cheapo ebay ones but with a Uniden case. The CAM250 was worse in that it shut down in a few seconds after power was removed; the ebay ones last 2-3 minutes. The only 2 good points about the CAM250 from Best Buy was the audio was slightly louder than the $25 ebay ones and Best Buy gave me a refund the next day when I returned it.

Is Windows 8 better opposed to Windows 7.

A lot of users prefer Window's 7. It may be more user friendly but is Window 8 better?
Windows 8 isn't that better than Window 7. It does run a bit faster but you won't feel the difference overall. The only difference is the GUI interface now being called charms. Window 8 is better on touchscreens as it was meant to be for it. Some people don't want to leave their comfort zone so they chastise Window 8.

If you mean to a HDTV the HDMI cable should be able to transmit the audio also. You have to tweak the sound card settings.

Do I need a built in modem in my laptop or can I connect thru a network?

No, you can get a USB (telephone) modem if there's none in the laptop. Lots of laptops these days have a wireless card and an ethernet connection to connect to a network.

Can I connect a laptop through cell phone without additional charger or connections?

My cell phone has unlimited text and web. If I purchase a laptop can it connect to the internet through that phone without any extra charges or connections?
Depends on the phone and carrier. Read the contract because almost all carriers prevent you from tiering your cell phone as a modem but everyone does it anyways. Some carriers will detect that you are using the bandwidth too much and will decrease it's speed... for TMobile it'll go from 3G to Edge mode.

finger print log in laptop

It's a program so you can use your specified finger to log in to your laptop. Your laptop must have a fingerprint reader. HP's fingerprint program can also be used to log in to a web site by swiping your finger. Dell's program won't. You have to register specific fingers for the initial setup.

If it's still under warranty you can contact Acer to see if there's a repair facility near you. USB ports are usually sturdy unless you really shove a device in it.

Can I buy a Dell from Best Buy and still get the $15.00 per use WIFI from Verision?
You can ask Verizon. Sometimes these 'special' deals are exclusive to the business that's selling the device. It's more affordable because it's like a package deal.
