I bought for my college student. 17.3 in screen is great, not a touch screen, win 8 (not yet updated to 8.1). Would have preferred a smooth touchpad, but my college student likes it. Bought 4 more gigs of ram to make it 8 (max). Installed the ram before start up, so not sure of the speed of 4 gigs, but it flies with 8. Display is crisp and clear. Considering a 2nd drive caddy to hold 2nd hard drive to max out storage space. No bluetooth so adding an adapter. Student is playing games on it, and works well.

What's great about it: price, overall great item for student
What's not so great: could use more ram and hd size in time, hate those touch pads with bumps
I would recommend this to a friend!
