Sub-par software and support

This is yet another product with a Samsung name that I regret purchasing. For the first few months, all was well, except for the associated apps. A teenager could have done better programming and design, but it WAS -- for the most part -- functional. Fast forward over a few months, and these cameras have been plagued with numerous downtimes related to Samsung server issues. Push notifications for the mention detector are sometimes delated by 10-20 mins., sometimes more than an hour. This makes it somewhat pointless to even have push notifications at all. Now bring into the mix updated OS and browsers. New iterations of the browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari for Mac and I have seen complaints from PC users on Chrome as well) have all dropped support for the plugin required. The camera is no longer functional from your computer. I would have thought that a company like Samsung would be more aware with software development than they are. New browsers and OS should not come as a complete surprise to them as developer versions have been out for some time.To sum it up, this experience with this camera has been typical of my experience with ALL Samsung electronics and appliances. No support after the sale and they really only care about your money in the beginning. Do yourself a favor and stay away, and please if you buy it, don't use it for anything important, like actually watching a baby or security. Use it to entertain yourself by watching your dog when you aren't home, because that's all this camera is good for.

Put the iron away and forget the dry cleaners. This Samsung dryer will steam the wrinkles out of clothes and leave all your laundry fresh and odor-free.

Please research before you buy Samsung Products

I will admit, I have had a Samsung dryer for 5 years so far but I don't use it heavily - maybe once a week if that. During the first 3 years, the belt broke and I had to replace it (easy fix, but annoying). Two years have gone by and now it seems that the metal drum is coming apart at the seams (literally - there's a large crack in the seam - see photo). That crack is causing the drum to be out of round and the dryer makes a loud thumping noise on each revolution.
When I say research, look for this specific problem and you will find literally thousands of reports and videos of the same thing happening with Samsung products. Now, I am faced with the issue to repair (at a cost of $400+) or cutting my losses and replacing it with something else. I started the research into replacing with a different brand and it seems LG dryers have having some of the same issue. Samsung will do absolutely NOTHING for you outside of the warranty.
Do NOT purchase a Samsung dryer.

I ordered new parts and they are in my garage ready to be installed. I was going to to that tomorrow, but the heating element went out TODAY. I am even more resolved never to buy a single thing Samsung has a hand in making. I am feeling justified I talked a couple out of buying a new Samsung washer and dryer over the weekend.
