WAY LOUD

Bose Soundsport Wireless
WAY LOUD!
I open with that statement because every reviewer I’ve watched and read seems to think these aren’t very loud.
So here is the secret
First select a larger ear size than you think you should be wearing, so for me I installed the large size.
Now place them in your ears just like your’e supposed to.
Last step and the most important, twist the buds backwards. This gives you a really great comfortable fit.
Now play the music
Blows everything else out of the water.

Soundsport Pulse better than soundsport

The Bose Soundsport Pulse sound better than the Bose soundsport
Let me start by saying, I am not sponsored by any headphone company and I like you have been trying to find the perfect earbud headphone for my personal use.
Beats X wireless
I first started with the Beats-x, which seemed like the most likely choice for me. These headphones use the W1 chip from Apple, which does do a good job of extending battery life and connection distance. After a couple days I knew I needed to return them, the cord is so long, it kept getting tangled in everything. The sound quality was okay, but I really hated shoving the bud so deep in my ear to get deep sounds.
Jaybird X3 wireless
Next was the Jaybird X3, best part about this headphone was a shorter cable and those foam earbud attachments. Tried all the sizes, but the buds kept falling out with vigorous activity.
Sound was good, thats about all I can say about them. Other than the fact that I don’t know what X3 headphones have all these people been reviewing? Cause mine sure weren't anything special.
Powerbeats 3 wireless
So back to Beats I went, trying the Powerbeats 3, yup they sure solved the falling out part, but with a contraction that made it look like I was wearing old timer hearing aides. And after a while they were hurting my ears.
Bose Soundsport wireless
So I thought to myself, let’s try Bose. Went and got the soundsport buds, very comfy, look silly. Sound was good, but the sound quality seemed to diminish after a week. Maybe it was just me, or maybe I got a bad set. Don’t know and don’t care.
Bose QC30 wireless
By now I had figured out that the Bose had the most pleasing sound and the most comfy fit. So I figured I go up the Bose line and get the QC30. So now I'm spending 300 dollars, how cool are these I thought. The noise cancellation worked good, the sound quality was good, the fit was comfy. I thought I have found them!! Wrong again, that rubber collar around you neck soon becomes the biggest annoyance I could imagine.
Well I wasn’t going to be out 300 bucks for something that bugged the heck out of me.
Bose Soundsport Pulse
So back they went, and exchanged them for the Bose Soundsport Pulse. Now I realize that the only difference between these and the regular soundsport buds is a heart rate monitor, or is it?
Best sound I had heard to date and all the same features I mentioned earlier. So to bring this to an end, I am still very happy with the Bose soundsport pulse. I actually think a different technology went into these compared to the normal soundsport, I can't prove any of that but it sure seems that way.

Is there a recommended app for sound enhancement?

I use spotify and recently found out that they have an equalized built into the app, so at least when I'm listening to spotify, i can adjust the sound.
