Built to fit more dishes. This Samsung dishwasher powers through each wash with a wall of water pressure to thoroughly clean each dish. Plus, you can control which zone gets a more intensive wash to target heavy messes.

I love our Chef Collection kitchen (refrigerator, gas range, microwave) but I would never recommend this dishwasher to anyone. I would estimate that about 40% of the time dishes come out with food still on them. This is not due to overloading, wrong soap, burnt-on food, etc. -- it is completely unpredictable. Sometimes the unit will remove cooked-on food from pots and pans, and sometimes a dinner plate will still have a smear of ketchup after going through a cycle.
To seal the deal on this 1-star review, the unit ceased functioning after 9 months of use. We had our new dishwasher installed last spring, started using it the beginning of April, and at the beginning of February the motor that drives the water wall has broken. When that motor goes, the unit can't complete a cleaning cycle (even using the top-rack only setting).
To make matters worse, I purchased the unit on sale over a year ago and simply waited on delivery until our new home was ready to go. Big mistake. The 1-year warranty begins ticking from purchase date. The front of our unit has a big 5-year warranty sticker on "linear motion parts" -- which does cover the broken motor. However, I'm responsible for paying the independent contractor who is doing the work. So we're out another $120 plus tax for labor.

Nearly 3 weeks in and Samsung is dragging its feet repairing our unit. I hate to say it but only buy this dishwasher if you buy the protection plan from the store, because the company does not stand behind its product.
