I recently bought a Lenovo 720 13 inch laptop and love it but wanted a smaller, less expensive laptop to take with me to a convention. I was more attracted to the Samsung Chromebook Plus due to the appearance and specs but the sound was awful. I kept researching online and so many good reviews for this Acer R11 that I gave it a second look, compared the speakers while in the store and the Acer blew away the other Chromebooks. I bought the Acer R11 and it not only saved me money but it's an absolute delight to type on, sound is terrific and the color/clarity of the display is very good. You can't beat it for the price. I actually like the white plastic retro look now and feels sturdy for sticking in my purse, Did I mention the Google App store works great? Awesome!

For the past few weeks, I've gone into multiple Best Buy stores testing 13" laptops. I bought and returned the HP Spectre because it got so hot that I was afraid it would burn out. The Dell XPS was too expensive and reviews of customer support were troubling. Many others of this size were heavy or had low sound. The new Lenovo 720 was just advertised and not even available on Lenovo's site. The price was great and I have some positive experience with the brand. My favorite aspects of this laptop are 1) light weight 2) lighted keyboard 3) Touch screen with support for Wacom pen 4) stayed cool 5) fast processor.
Met and exceeded my expectations and blows away the competition!

Hasn't worked properly since purchased

I love the style of this refrigerator and hope one day it will work. We bought because it had beautiful appearance and two ice makers. The ice makers haven't worked right since purchase. We bought in September 2015 and yesterday was our 9th service appointment. Another is scheduled to install multiple parts next week. There's at least a week lag time between evaluation and parts coming in each time, sometimes more. Whirlpool warranty is fixing everything one at a time but we've had various problems including overfrosting, no ice, not cooling and more. We purchased a Geek Squad warranty and have had difficulty in communicating intelligently to their reps. They recommended letting Whirlpool fix through their one year warranty and then said they wouldn't consider the lemon policy because none of the repairs were done through them. I sent all documentation to them for their records but no response. The last Geek Squad guy I spoke with told me their warranty doesn't even kick in until the manufacturer's warranty is over and I read on their website this isn't the case. So if you buy this model, beware and don't count on the Geek Squad extra warranty or even getting a straight answer from them. We went back to the Kitchen section of Best Buy after initially having problems and asked about replacement and they basically "shooed" us off.

Best picture quality

Compared to all the 65" TV's, this has the best picture quality in the price range. Sound is actually good enough without a sound bar. We noticed some slight judder depending on the signal but it is not a significant issue. The beautiful color, clarity, brightness, viewing angels, and overall stunning picture made it the top choice. Tried Sony x810c but the Sony's picture seemed flat and sometimes pixilated on a Netflix 4k video next to Samsung ju7100 when playing side by side. Can't beat 24 month free financing plus a good price and awesome tv. Also has 3D. If you want to save $300, the Sony x810c is also very good but we felt it was worth the extra money for a better overall picture to get the Samsung. If you like sports or videogames, this is the tv for you.

Quiet as a mouse and battery is pretty darned awesome. I've had it unplugged all day and it's still at 88% but very light usage. I had considered the Samsung 13 inch laptops but read battery life was horrible.
So far everything on this laptop has been stellar.

I purchased this on 4/18/2017 and the laptop is great, it runs smoothly, touch screen is perfect, light weight, decent 6 hours of battery, everything is great. Except one thing, the fan. My goodness the fan is extremely loud. it kicks in every 5 minutes on full blast and is embarrassing when you're in class on in a library and all you can hear is the whirring sound of the fan. It sounds a if I have 20 programs open when in reality its just on the home screen. if the sound of a small typhoon wont bother you, then over all this is a perfect laptop.

You need to switch it out. I have never even heard the fan come on and I bought it before they came out in the stores. There is zero fan noise on my computer (720 13 inch).

What is the battery life?
Battery life has been very good. I have had it unplugged all day and still at 88% battery with light usage. I'm sure battery life is going to depend on use but I'm very pleased with this so far. Didn't buy the Samsung Spin 7 due to comments on terrible battery life although I love Samsung products.
This little Lenovo has pretty much everything I was looking for, and the price was lower than all the competition.

How can I get this in my house? 36" wide is already the width of a standard door frame, can't see this fitting in a normal house.
The delivery guys remove the doors.
