Top quality non-stick indoor grill with six height settings and integrated drip tray. Adjust the height to avoid crushing food or open it all the way up in 180° barbecue mode. Temperature responsive LCD display colorfully alerts when the grill is ready to go. Tilt the bottom plate to drain fats in the easy-to-handle drip tray. The grill unfolds flat to provide a large cooking surface.

Do you or I need a Blendtec or Vitamix blender than can shred a tree branch? No, but it is much more fun to use than a $10 hand blender which would do 90% of how I use my blender! Likewise, the Breville Smart Grill is over the top as well. It is well built and the outcome is excellent. I like the idea of Element IQ, which sense when you put your relatively cold steak (or whatever) and focuses heat on that area.

This is so Cool! I bought this while I remodeled my kitchen. I have a old style hot plate, but wanted to try induction cooking. This is FAR better than I had read. I can heat a can of soup in much less time than a microwave and frying is far more controlled than on a traditional electric burner. Plus, this cooktop looks very stylish. I have had two contractors assume that this temporary solution was to be built into my kitchen. Maybe it should be!
