After looking at a $300 budget for a player that I could upgrade I picked this player up on an impulse, my options where Pro-Ject or U-Turn originally but Best Buy had this on the shelf. For $199 I am extremely pleased with the sound running the onboard pre and out to Klipsch 2.1 channel set up. The options to upgrade are great and do put it on par with my other options cost wise but the auto play/stop on the Denon is a nice feature the others do not have. For entry into the hobby this is a great option.
