Portable cooling power!
on March 7, 2024
Posted by: VangTfz
TLDR - The Shark FlexBreeze is an impressive portable fan, boasting features like misting for extra cooling.
Pros:
- Portability: The FlexBreeze is a breeze to carry around, thanks to its built-in battery and detachable design. Even without its base stand, it stands on its own on four legs, making it super convenient for on-the-go use. It's not too heavy at around 14 pounds and has a small footprint, so it's easy to move around.
- Design: The design is smartly crafted for easy assembly and disassembly, making it perfect for travel. Plus, the magnetic remote control is user-friendly.
- Feature-filled: With its oscillation and adjustable angle, you can place the fan wherever you need it without any hassle. And let's not forget about the misting feature, which really amps up its cooling power in hot weather.
- Performance: Despite its compact size, the FlexBreeze pumps out a good amount of air while remaining relatively quiet, even on the highest settings. Compared to my non-portable fans, it's more efficient and quieter, making it my go-to for most situations!
Cons:
- Charging Port: The biggest downside is that the charging port is located on the circular base stand. This means if you're using the fan without the base, you can't charge it. It's a bit of an oversight, but forgivable considering the good battery life. Hopefully, future versions will have a charging port on the fan itself.
- Charging Time: Charging the FlexBreeze takes a while, upwards of 4 hours if the battery is almost empty. You'll need to plan ahead if you're taking it on the go to ensure it's fully charged for optimal use.
- Misting: Currently, the misting feature only works with water hoses, limiting its usability unless you get creative with reservoir connections.
Overall, I highly recommend the Shark FlexBreeze for its portability and performance. It's a powerful fan that's easy to move and operates quietly. Plus, the oscillation and misting features really take its cooling abilities to the next level!

Ultra portable gaming laptop!
on February 28, 2024
Posted by: VangTfz
TLDR:
I've found the HP Omen Transcend 14 to be an excellent choice thanks to its sleek design and powerful performance packed into a compact 14" form factor. It's a thin and light gaming laptop ideal for those, like me, who prioritize portability without sacrificing gaming performance.
Specifications:
- Processor: Intel Core 7 155H (6x performance cores @ 4.8GHz, 8x efficiency cores @ 3.8GHz, 2x low-power cores @ 2.5GHz, totaling 22 threads)
- Graphics: Integrated graphics with Intel Arc (8x Xe-cores) & dedicated graphics with NVidia 4060 (TGP 50W + 15W boost, totaling 65W max)
- RAM: 16GB @ 7467MHz
- Storage: 1TB NVMe 4.0 SSD (4800 reads, 3600 write speeds)
- Display: 14" 2880x1800 (2.8K) 120Hz OLED panel reaching around 500 nits
- Webcam: 1080p
- Weight: 3.6 pounds
- Ports: 2x USB Type C (1x USB 3.1 Power Delivery 140W + 1x Thunderbolt 4), 2x USB Type A 3.1 Gen 2, HDMI 2.1, 3.5mm audio jack
Design:
I was truly impressed by the slim and lightweight design of the Omen Transcend 14. It maintains its ultra-portability without sacrificing build quality. The sleek aluminum chassis gives it a premium feel, and its compact size allows me to effortlessly slip it into my backpack for gaming on the go. The minimalist design with matte Omen branding adds a touch of style without being too flashy. Plus, when I open it up, the 4-zone RGB keyboard adds a nice flair.
Performance:
Equipped with the Intel Core 7 155h and Nvidia RTX 4060, the Omen Transcend 14 delivers gaming performance that surpassed my expectations for its size. Although I couldn't find direct specs for the TGP of the 4060, monitoring with HWInfo during gaming revealed it peaked at 65W with a max temp of 70°C. The CPU's max power draw reached 83.5W with a max temp of 109°C. Achieving this involves setting 15W to the "Smart Performance Gain" in the "Advanced Settings" of the Omen Gaming Software. By default, the "Smart Performance Gain" is set to 0, and I noticed the GPU capped out at 50W. Despite the 4060 being power-limited to 65W, when I compared it to my brother's Legion Slim 5 with a 4060 (100W + 15W boost), the Omen Transcend 14's 4060 was only behind by 5-10% FPS in COD & Fortnite. It seems like the power limitation for portability was a smart and welcomed move by HP.
Since the CPU temps were quite high, I highly recommend using this on a laptop cooling pad. I use the IETS GT 500v2, and with the Omen Transcend 14 on it, the CPU temps maxed out at 90°C on the CPU and 58°C on the GPU.
Whether I'm playing demanding AAA titles or engaging in computationally expensive workloads, this laptop handles it with ease. The ample RAM ensures smooth multitasking, and the fast storage guarantees quick load times and responsiveness. Just note, you may need to lower the game resolution settings due to the high-resolution display. While gaming, I usually turn it down to 1920x1200 to hit 120FPS.
Display:
The 14" 2.8K display of the Omen Transcend 14 offers infinite contrast and sharp details, providing an immersive gaming experience. With a 120Hz refresh rate, fast-paced action appears fluid and stutter-free, enhancing gameplay responsiveness. The slim bezels maximize screen real estate, further intensifying the immersion.
Keyboard and Trackpad:
The keyboard offers a comfortable typing experience with decent key travel and tactile feedback, essential for extended gaming sessions. The 4-zone RGB backlighting allows for customization and adds a stylish touch. And everyone knows that RGB adds at least 15% performance gains all around, so I don't turn it off! The precision trackpad provides accurate cursor control for daily use. However, gamers may prefer an external mouse for more precise input during gameplay.
Connectivity:
The Omen Transcend 14 offers a good selection of ports, including 2x Type-A and 2x Type-C USBs, HDMI 2.1, and an audio jack, ensuring compatibility with various peripherals. With the onboard Wi-Fi 6e NIC, I was able to get roughly 850 down and 900 up on my Wi-Fi 7 network. Bluetooth connectivity provides convenient wireless options. Connecting my Sony XM5s was a breeze, and I hardly felt any lag when gaming.
Battery Life:
While thin and light laptops typically prioritize battery life, the Omen Transcend 14 prioritizes gaming performance. Expect around 1 hour of gaming battery life and under 5 hours for typical usage scenarios. Note that your mileage may vary depending on your usage. If you're trying to squeeze out more battery, you can lower the refresh rate and brightness, but that may lead to a choppy and less desirable experience.
Upgradeability:
It's worth noting that the RAM is soldered on, so be sure to get the desired RAM amount during purchase, as you won't be able to upgrade it later. For many, including myself, this is a big bummer as 16GB is quite low but should we be able to upgrade, that would help with the future-proofing this device. On the other hand, the M.2 slot is upgradeable, should you run out of space in the 1TB drive. Additionally, the NIC is also upgradeable, allowing you to switch to Wi-Fi 7 or later NICs in the future.
Conclusion:
The HP Omen Transcend 14 is a thin and light gaming laptop that delivers impressive gaming performance in a portable package, despite its power draw and upgradeability limitations. Its sleek design, powerful hardware, and stunning display make it a compelling choice for gamers like me who prioritize portability without sacrificing gaming performance. While it may not match the performance of bulkier gaming laptops, its combination of performance and portability makes it an excellent option for gaming enthusiasts on the move.

Compact powerhouse, second to none!
on February 24, 2024
Posted by: VangTfz
Introducing the Elgato 4K X: a compact powerhouse of an external capture card. Bundled with a USB C to C 3.2 and HDMI 2.1 cable, this device is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, yet it packs a punch. Weighing in at just under half a pound and with a footprint slightly larger than that of an Altoids tin can, the 4K X offers incredible portability without compromising on performance.
One of the standout features of the 4K X is its ability to record in stunning 4K resolution at 144Hz with SDR and tone mapping capabilities. Despite its diminutive size, the device is sturdy and stable, thanks to two long strips of rubber feet on the bottom, preventing any unwanted movement when in use.
Visually, the 4K X boasts a sleek rectangular design with tapered edges, giving it a modern and distinctive appearance. On the front, you'll find a convenient 3.5mm audio jack, while the backside houses HDMI 2.1 in and out ports for HDMI passthrough, as well as a USB C 3.2 port.
Setting up the 4K X is a breeze. I simply connected my PS5 to the device's HDMI in port, then linked my LG C2 TV to the HDMI out port, and finally, connected it to my desktop via the USB C port. Within minutes, I was up and running, ready to capture content from my PS5.
When it comes to performance, the 4K X delivers. With passthrough, the frame rates are consistently high, comparable to a direct connection. Compared to my XR1, I didn’t observe FPS drops, particularly in demanding games like Fortnite and COD. This reliability is crucial for maintaining the competitive edge while still capturing high-quality content.
In conclusion, I highly recommend the Elgato 4K X to anyone involved in content creation workflows. Its compact size, powerful performance, and ease of use make it a standout choice in its category. Keep an eye out for sales – if you spot a deal, don't hesitate to make the purchase. The 4K X is a game-changer and will exceed your expectations!

Conclusion
The HP OfficeJet Pro 9135e is highly recommended for those in need of a reliable, feature-rich all-in-one printer for home or small office settings. Its combination of speed, quality, and multifunctionality, paired with competitive pricing, makes it an excellent choice for a wide range of users.

LG CordZero Review: Efficient & User-Friendly
on January 6, 2024
Posted by: VangTfz
The LG CordZero All-in-One Cordless Stick Vacuum, featuring a Dual Floor Max Nozzle, arrives in a premium package. The box includes:
> LG CordZero Vacuum
> Auto-Empty Base Station Tower
> Telescopic Wand
> Dual Floor Max Nozzle
> Removable Quick Release Battery (chargeable via tower)
> Combination Tool
> Crevice Tool
> Extra Pre-Filter
> 2 Tower Bags
> Owner’s Manual
Key features include Auto Empty, Kompressor Technology, Dual Floor Max Nozzle, Washable Cyclone and Filters, and a Smart Inverter Motor.
[Design and Build Quality]
The CordZero's thoughtful design is evident. The tower efficiently stows tools and automates debris disposal. The built-in LEDs in the Dual Floor Max Nozzle illuminate debris, facilitating cleaning. Although predominantly plastic, it has a high-quality feel and is heavier than expected.
[Setup and Ease of Use]
Setup is straightforward, involving quick assembly and organizing tools in the tower. The user interface simplifies operation, offering easy on/off toggling and power level adjustment. A slide lever for debris removal alongside the internal cylinder is a particularly nice maintenance feature.
[Performance]
> Suction Power: Offers three levels; the middle setting suffices for daily use.
> Battery Life: Adequate for a 2100 sq ft house, with about 30-35 minutes of runtime. Charging from empty takes under 3 hours.
> Maneuverability: The Dual Floor Max Nozzle aids in easy navigation, though the vacuum feels heavier with additional attachments.
> Noise Level: Comparable to other vacuums, both during operation and auto-emptying at the tower.
[Maintenance]
The auto-empty feature significantly reduces maintenance. The tower bag fills about halfway in 3-4 days, indicating a weekly or bi-weekly emptying schedule. Washable filters and a dual brush head design in the nozzle reduce maintenance hassle.
[Additional Features]
Includes the LG ThinQ app for usage history and diagnostics – a bonus for tech-savvy users.
[Pros]
> Efficient auto-emptying feature.
> Compact tower that neatly stores all tools.
> 10-year limited motor warranty.
> Washable filters.
[Cons]
> Battery life is shorter compared to some other high-end models.
> Squeaky wheels on the Dual Floor Max Nozzle on hardwood floors during turns.
[Conclusion]
Competitively priced, offering good value considering the features and compared to other high-end vacuums.Highly recommended for those seeking a functional, maintainable, and user-friendly cordless vacuum. Particularly worth considering if found on sale.

GE Indoor Smoker: Compact & Convenient!
on January 6, 2024
Posted by: VangTfz
[Smart Indoor Smoker Review]
The GE Profile Smart Indoor Smoker arrived in a very premium box, excellently packed. It featured handles on both the outer and inner boxes, greatly easing the carrying experience, especially for those without assistance. The packaging prominently displays the smoker's functions, providing a clear overview of its capabilities.
Unboxing was a breeze, with the smoker securely encased in hard foam, ensuring damage-free delivery. The inclusion of the racks, temperature probe, drip pan tray, counter drip tray, and cleaning brush are thoughtfully arranged for economical packaging. The user manual provides straightforward setup instructions and a helpful guide.
Inside the box, you'll find the Smart Indoor Smoker unit, three cooking racks, two rack mounts, an internal drip pan, a counter drip pan, a magnetically-held temperature probe, a sample bag of GE wood pellets by KONA, and a cleaning brush. The attached power plug at the back is non-removable, a minor inconvenience.
The smoker exudes a premium feel – sturdy and substantial at about 20 lbs. While one person can lift it post-unboxing, an extra pair of hands ensures safer positioning on the counter. The stainless steel racks and side rails are a testament to its quality build.
Mounting the racks is tool-free and intuitive. They securely clip onto metal nubs inside the smoker. The sleek design includes a counter drip pan for effortless post-cooking cleanup. The magnetic holder for the temperature probe is a thoughtful, high-quality touch.
Dimension-wise, the smoker is a 17-inch cube (length, width, depth), exclusive of the cooking area. The top-located wood feeding slot, complete with a visible auger, mimics outdoor pellet grills in design and functionality. Its size, slightly larger than an air fryer and akin to a microwave in width, necessitates some counter space consideration.
[Cooking Review]
As a seasoned backyard griller with a range of smokers at my disposal (electric, acorn, traditional lump charcoal, and a pellet smoker/grill), I approached the GE Smart Indoor Smoker with a comparative lens.
True to its name, the smoker allows indoor smoking without the resultant smoke typically filling the kitchen or home – a revolutionary feature for apartment dwellers or those with limited outdoor space.
[Pros]
> Ease of Use: The set-and-forget nature, complemented by the GE Smart HQ app and the included temperature probe, spares you from repeatedly opening the smoker for temperature checks.
> Flavor Profile: Smoking a brisket in it, I found the smoke flavor ranged from mild to moderate, allowing the beef's robust flavor to shine through. The notes from the simple salt, pepper, and mustard rub were distinctly perceptible.
> Functionality: What sets this smoker apart from my electric smoker is its self-feeding hopper and auger, akin to an outdoor pellet grill. The water tray for spent pellets simplifies cleanup.
[Cons]
> Aroma Dispersal: Like an air fryer, its vents do release cooking aromas throughout the house.
> Interior Space Limitations: I used a 13lb, 18-inch brisket, trimmed to fit the smoker's 16-inch maximum length. Larger cuts common in outdoor smoking aren't feasible here.
> Smoke Ring: The resultant smoke ring was faint, although this could be due to the provided sample pellets. The flavor was present but differed from what I achieve with oak or mesquite chips in my other smokers.
[Conclusion]
Rating this experience, I'd give the smoker a 7/10 overall, surpassing my electric smoker but with room for improvement. The ease of use scores a perfect 10/10, flavor profile an 8/10, and appearance an 8/10. The unit excels in delivering flavor, crucial in cooking. The brisket's tenderness and taste were on point, following my usual outdoor smoking method but with the convenience of being indoors.
However, the price point is a consideration. It's a valuable addition for indoor cooks or those new to smoking, but the cost, size limitations, and lack of color options might give one pause. A price reduction, increased cooking area, and color variety could make it a more compelling choice for a broader audience.

Lightning fast portable drive!
on December 5, 2023
Posted by: VangTfz
The Crucial 2TB X9 Pro… TLDR: Excellent drive for fast transfers!
Pros:
> Small, lightweight, super portable. In fact, if you're not careful, you may lose it in a pinch :P
> Great transfer speeds… Most of big single file transfers, which were 1GB+, yielded transfer speeds over 800Mbps. Transferring smaller files that measured over 1GB+, yielded transfer slower transfer speeds at around 400Mbps+, but thats the norm for any drive.
> It’s an SSD… no moving parts = more durable than traditional hard disk drives.
> Any device that has a USB Type C port will almost be compatible with this. I was able to use it with my Apple devices (MBP 14 M2, MBA 13 M1, 11” iPad Pro M1), Android devices (S23 Ultra,
Tab S8 Ultra), and Windows devices (Scar 16, Surface Pro 9).
Cons:
> None that i’m aware of so far yet 🙂
Would’ve been nice to see this be a TB4 (Thunderbolt 4) drive since it's targeted for Macs, which come equipped with multiple TB4 USB Type C ports… That would’ve allowed for better, faster SSDs to be put in for even faster transfer speeds!!! But perhaps one day? As it is, the speeds are already pretty blazingly fast 🙂
Overall, would highly recommend to anyone that is looking for a lightning fast portable drive… Definitely grab this one!!!

Crispy clear soundbar with awesome features!
on November 21, 2023
Posted by: VangTfz
The Samsung HW-Q930C… TLDR: Crispy clear soundbar with awesome features!
Pros:
> Sound quality… is superb! By default, there are various audio profiles you can go with depending on your type of media So far, i’ve tried Gamer Pro when playing games on my PS5 & Adaptive mode for watching movies/sports. Both sound profiles are excellent and the crispiness of the audio has me scratching my head why i didn’t get this sooner. Surprisingly, bumping this thing near max volume yielded no clipping or distortion. The audio quality produced by the Q930C is crispy clear!
> Surround sound was indeed captivating… Watching movies which had Dolby Atmos was pretty awesome. My previous soundbars also had surround sound as well, but they sounded quite tiny and was not as immersive as the Q930C.
> Setup was quick easy and quick. I connected the soundbar via HDMI to my LG C3’s ARC input and then proceeded to connect the two satellite rear speakers and the subwoofer. Everything synced up pretty easily and i was up and running in ~5 mins. Since i’m using ARC, i can use my TV remote to control the volume :)
> Connectivity includes Bluetooth & Wi-Fi. Pairing via bluetooth took some patience and putting it into pairing mode requires a 5 second hold/press. Wi-Fi connectivity was simple to setup and worked like a charm as well :)
Cons:
> HDMI passthrough is 2.0. This means you’ll only get 4k 60Hz… Kind of wish this came with at least 2.1 for 4k 120Hz, especially for the price point.
> Bass can be a tad bit underwhelming when listening to music. Don’t get me wrong, there is bass however if you’re expecting it to thump, you may be let down quite a bit.
Overall, this is a very nice soundbar. Would I recommend it? Yes… Especially if you can get it on sale, I would highly recommend it!

Good workhorse with very limited upgrade path...
on November 17, 2023
Posted by: VangTfz
TLDR: a tad bit underwhelming, but still a good workhorse.
Pros:
> Good CPU… The i5-13400 is no slouch and will get you through most/if not all CPU-bound workloads.
> Lightweight desktop tower. Not a small form factor desktop, but for a tower this thing is pretty light and is easy to move around if you need to do so.
> Case ports are good.
>>> On the front panel, there are 4 USB type A ports (appears to be 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 & 2x USB 2 ports) along with a smart card reader, SD card reader, 3.5mm audio, and 3.5mm microphone ports.
>>> On the backside you’ll find PS2 ports for mouse & keyboard, VGA, HDMI & DisplayPort (using integrated graphics from the i5-13400 CPU), 4 USB type A ports (appears to be 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 & 2x USB 2 ports), gigabit ethernet, and 3.5mm headphone & 3.5mm microphone ports.
> OS image comes pretty clean with little to no bloat that i was aware of. There was some Asus software to help with keeping drivers/utilities up to date. For me personally, the less the better 🙂Setup was pretty quick and took less than 5 mins. What took long was getting the Windows updates after initial setup, but this is true for any machine.
> Is wireless with Wi-Fi 6 & Bluetooth. Enjoying some pretty good speeds with my mesh Wi-Fi 7 router. The additional antenna that comes with this case is magnetic also, making it easy to mount anywhere along the case.
> Thermals seem to be pretty decent. Running synthetic benchmarks & stress tests for elongated sessions yielded peak temps around 82°c. For sure this thing will not be used for any gaming or GPU expensive workloads as it only has integrated graphics, so that’ll help limit any intensive type workloads that may render high temps. Additionally, the fans were pretty quiet 🙂
Cons:
> Only comes with a 512GB SSD. Would’ve like to see at least a 1TB SSD in this. I happen to have a handful of 2TB SSDs, so upgraded that a few days after setting up Windows (had to reinstall Windows again but totally worth it for more space). Please note, there is an additional M.2 slot for to populate another SSD!
> 8GB of ram… pretty lackluster… considering this is a DDR4 system, you’d think the ram would be cheaper than DDR5 and it’d come with at least 16GB. A lot of my workloads require at least 32GB of RAM, so 8GB just won’t cut it. I happen to also have a handful of DDR4 RAM and upgraded this right off the bat to 32GB (using 2x 16GB 3600MT/s sticks). One thing to note is that the BIOS does not provide any settings for enabling XMP… So for me, that meant my 32GB sticks of RAM were stuck at the base DDR4 2132MT/s speeds… If you happen to be upgrading the RAM, ensure that you are getting JEDEC compliant sticks wherein you won’t need BIOS settings and the speeds will automatically be set to the intended speeds. This is probably the biggest trigger for me considering Asus makes MOBOs and they simply opted out of adding any XMP settings for the MOBO this machine comes with…
> There appears to be 2 free/unused SATA power connectors from the PSU & multiple SATA connections from the MOBO however the drive cages appears to have no mounting screws??? Was intending to use this as a server and put in some HDDs however that doesn’t seem possible unless i jerryrig it… Another big disappointment…
Overall, if you can catch this on a discount, I would say go for it… For the base price, it comes with pretty minimal drive space & RAM, which is expected in this price range of products… It’s not a bad machine, but it’s severely lacking upgrade options from the get go…
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Blazing fast Wi-Fi!
on October 3, 2023
Posted by: VangTfz
The Linksys Velop Pro 7! TLDR - blazing fast Wi-Fi, but will you notice it?
Out of the box, it comes with 3 Velop Pro 7 MBE7000 nodes, 3 charging bricks, and 1 ethernet cable.
Pros:
> Setup is a breeze and shaved off a couple of minutes from previous Velop systems i’ve had. My Wi-Fi 6 Velops typically took me around 4-5 mins to setup via the app whereas the Velop Pro 7 took 2-3 minutes per node :)
> Wi-Fi speeds are almost blazingly fast and just shy of my wired connection speeds. I have a 1gig Fios connection, and am pulling 800+ down & 600+ up when on my S23 Ultra. For comparison, my wired connection gets me 900+ down & 900+ up! These speeds are consistent for each of my nodes as my two satellite nodes are connected to the main node via a wired backhaul (as opposed to a wireless backhaul). Please note, your mileage may vary depending on the number of devices connected to your network - this will mean you’ll see higher or lower speeds! For reference, I have around 45 smart devices connected to my network at any given time which includes: TVs, smart phones, smart devices, tablets, and home security devices. Also, streaming 4K content on 6+ devices (e.g, Computers/TVs) seems snappier than my previous Wi-Fi 6 Velop network :P The throughput of the Velop Pro 7 is quite amazing!
> Wi-Fi coverage is pretty good. I live in a 3 story home and am able to easily get a strong Wi-Fi signal within every room of my house. Additionally, when outside I get pretty decent coverage as well being about 40ft+ away from the nearest node…can't ask for more :)
> Each MBE7000 node comes with 5 ethernet ports (1 of which can be used to connect to your main source of internet OR to the main node). This is quite nice as you can hook up multiple devices to the node, or even connect a switch to connect multiple devices via a wired connection. All of my nodes are connected to a 16 port switch (so I can wire in as many devices as I can to free up the airwaves for my wireless devices).
> Router features - i’ve been in the Velop ecosystem for quite a while now at around 4 years and use most of them (e.g., Guest Network, Parental Controls, Priority) and it’s good to see there are some beta features in development (e.g., Multi-Link Operation & Safe Browsing). I’d probably say the Parental Controls is the feature i use most right now as i have 4 kids and it helps me to limit their iPad & computer times!
Cons:
> I’ve noticed that with my older Wi-Fi 6 Velop systems, they would lose internet at least once every 2 weeks or even sometimes weekly. The nodes themselves are on, however the light indicates there’s no internet. To fix, i would have to unplug the main node and plug it back in and it works again within a minute (otherwise if i do nothing, it’ll come back up within the hour). Was hoping this would not be an issue with the new Velop Pro 7, but it seems to be unfortunately. Can’t help but think it’s the Velop system because if it were my ISP, i shouldn’t be connected back online so quickly. I set my neighbor up with a Wi-Fi 6 Orbi mesh system about 2 years ago and he’s also got a Fios 1gig plan but he never seems to have downtime/interruptions like i experience on my Velop systems :( Though it happens infrequently, it is kind of annoying & worth mentioning since i’ve observed this on 3 different Velop mesh systems now.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Velop Pro 7 mesh system. If you have tons of devices and stream a lot of content, this mesh system will definitely keep up with all of your devices Wi-Fi needs! Considering the price point of Wi-Fi 7 mesh systems right now also, this one is priced much lower while providing great features!

Great laptop for a great price!

Long story short, the Dell XPS 15 9560 is a beast of a machine!
Pros:
- Thin bezels, makes the footprint of the laptop considerably smaller
- Port selection is good (2 usb 3.0 type a ports, audio headphone/microphone combo jack, HDMI 1.4 out, sd card reader and a thunderbolt 3 port)
- Dazzling 4k display with 100% Adobe RGB color space
- Upgradeable ram (2 slots up to 32gb ddr4) and m.2 ssd
- Fingerprint scanner (quick and easy way to login via Windows hello)
- Latest i7 processor (brings a marginal increase in performance over the previous 6th generation i7 along with better power management which equals longer battery life, I usually get a little over 7 hours of use before needing to plug in)
- GTX 1050 (allows for gaming with playable frame rates for demanding games and great frame rates for most games)
Cons:
- Thunderbolt 3 port when connected to either my 4k monitor or 4k tv both shows signs of lag even though I have set both displays to be 60hz in the Intel HD options (the lag is most noticeable on the external 4k displays when playing 4k 60fps content from YouTube) - not sure if it has to do with the fact that it only has 2 lanes vs 4
- HDMI port is not 2.0 (basically means it can't output 4k at 60fps unless you use the thunderbolt 3 port which is buggy)
- Last but not least, the darn placement of the webcam (be prepared for a lot of up the nostrils and chin cam angles
Only real issue so far that I have encountered with this machine is the Wi-Fi dropping every few minutes but I updated the drivers from Dell's website and have yet to see the Wi-Fi drop since.
Would definitely recommend this laptop to anyone who needs a portable quad-core CPU laptop that has great battery life and can do some light to medium gaming!

Took the computer 2 weeks longer than expected to get delivered, then the PC arrives and doesn't even boot up. Sent back to cybertron to repair and they were in no hurry to get it back to me. Told them to just keep it after about another 2 weeks and to refund money. Terrible experience for a PC purchase and will never go through it again.
Horrible Customer Service

"In regards to the RMA time, we apologize that you needed it in the first place, but typical turnaround time is currently 7-10 business days, not including transit time."
Wow, they apologize that we as consumers needed their product in the first place... Seems like their quality of customer service is on the same level as their products which is garbage. Stay away from CybertronPC...

So happy

I am a gamer/graphic designer and I have to say this turned out to be a pretty good deal. It's so fast and performs so smoothly, but given some of the stuff in this is so new, I had to do some serious software and bios updating in order to achieve stability (it was mysteriously turning on and off, for no reason) If you're tech savvy or have like me, a brother who is, or have the geeksquad protection for this (which I also highly recommend) you should be fine. For a mere mortal like me, things might get a little scary at times, but it's really not hard to do if you have proper guidance. LONG STORY SHORT, I'm LOVING THIS PC :3

It says that it is for the third gen and the 4th gen iPad, but the camera for the iPad Pro 4th gen (2020) is different as the third gen (2018) iPad so for which ipad is this case?

This case is compatible for both 3rd and 4th gen iPad Pro 12.9”. The reason it is compatible with both is because the 3rd gen camera fits in the cutout that is dedicated for the 4th gen LIDR camera. Though it is truly made for 4th gen, the 3rd gen iPad will fit in as well.

Is the keyboard connected via smart connectors or is it Bluetooth?

The keyboard is connected via bluetooth. I keep it in the docked position and have not had any issues with the keyboard waking from sleep to begin typing (even after periods of time when idle).

With a 250GB capacity, this Samsung 850 EVO MZ-75E250B internal Serial ATA hard drive provides plenty of space for your digital media. TurboWrite technology delivers rapid read and write speeds for efficient performance.

Does Best Buy install these in desktops, how much?

Geeksquad should be able to help you out with the install, but to be honest, you would probably be able to do so yourself as well - it is pretty much plug and play (while the system is off of course). There are a lot of youtube videos out there which can be referenced when installing the SSD!

Battery Life

How long does the battery usually last
With screen brightness @ 80% (anything lower than that in well lit settings is too dim) i got around ~4 hours of usage, ie web browsing, youtubing, emails, music...
