Got this for my daughter for Christmas. Has been used around the pool, float trips and just around school. It does float. Has great sound. Is not as loud as larger units but is perfect for use when I work in the yard or on the car. Plug phone into power source and use blue tooth. Has great range. Will have to buy myself one soon, can't keep borrowing hers.
The blue tooth allows you too keep phones in watertight device and still play music on float trips. Only bad part was that best buy does not stock product in store, had to order it before listening to it.
