Purchased for a Dell "Half-High" with a failing PCIE card. Installation was simple and the drivers worked perfectly! Excellent card for an Office PC.

I would recommend this to a friend!

DDR vs DDR2

my computer has DDR memory. can I use a video card with DDr2. have a 300w power supply. 2gb ram 320gb hdd and available pci express slot. currently have 128mg video and I need 512 to run my xplane 9 flight sim. have been looking at nvidia cards but puzzled. thanks all
Gerry,
You absolutely can use a GPU (video card) with DDR2 memory on the card in your PC running DDR memory. The system memory and the video memory are not "intermingled" in any way.
Good Luck with your project.

I want add 2 more monitors, 4 total

I have a HP d5000t with 64 bit VISTA, 8 gigs ram with a Geforce 9800 gtx+ video card in PCI express slot. It supports 2 monitors. I want to add 2 more monitors for a total of 4.

I have 2 available PCI slots. what video card(s) do I need?
Steve,
Your best solution is to have two identical GPUs (video cards). You may experience driver conflicts and possibly degraded performance if you use cards from different manufacturers in the same PC. Good Luck with your project!
