There is a common problem with this TV that have not appeared on this site from what I could tell. The screen goes black for around 1-4 seconds and then comes back on. People have said that it is an issue with their cable box, however, I was having this issue and I do not have cable. This is an issue with the firmware inside the TV. Something about it, when plugged in through HDMI caused the TV to go black. I was also having this issue when watching the SmartTV apps like AmazonVideo. I hope to be returning this TV soon and see if I can have it replaced.
