This is a very fast modem/router and is simple to set up. If you have Time Warner or Comcast you just plug it in and call them. Even with smaller providers it's very simple to set up and use. I love the WPS button that connects equipment around the house very quickly without having to enter long passwords (and you should be using long, complex passwords).
Featuring a custom Gray Blue console, matching DualShock®4 Wireless controller, and Uncharted 4: A Thiefs End, its everything an aspiring treasure hunter needs to travel to exotic locations and rediscover fortunes forgotten by time.

I really like the PS4. It's sleek and this special edition looks great. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because it is going to be outdated soon because it can't play 4K Bluray and the new Xbox One S will be able to in August. If you don't care about 4K, then this is the system to have.

This sub is hard to beat. I decided to spend my money on two subs for my 7.2 system and bought one of these for now and will be getting another soon. This isn't going to rock the house down or anything, but it does sound really good for the price.

There are better center channel speakers, but nowhere near this price. I listened to numerous brands and models and came away very pleased with this one.
Considering the center channel is so important, don't skimp on it. Buy the best you can afford.
Enjoy immersive sound with this Klipsch Reference R-26F floorstanding speaker that features dual 6-1/2" copper-spun IMG woofers and a 1" aluminum diaphragm-compression LTS (linear travel suspension) tweeter to deliver cross-spectrum audio.

These speakers sound great and they don't take up much room. I would have preferred the 8" version of these towers, but for the price, they can't be beat. I bought a matching Klipsch center channel and a relatively cheap Polk Audio sub. Together the system sounds great.

I recently purchased a Denon AVR-S720W and had to return it because it was cutting the video signal constantly. It seemed liked a bug that caused it to not be able to pass through the signal, plus Pandora would not work.
I did my homework and picked this Yamaha. All I can is wow! The sound is much, much better than the Denon. Denon was not even close to this. The many DSP presets are awesome.
What I was not expecting, however, was a very noticeable picture quality jump. It's hard to believe. I'm running a PS4 through this receiver to a 60" 1080P Sharp that was a Magnolia unit a few years ago (much better than Sharp now from what I hear). Anyway, this TV has always looked great with Blurays, but now it's incredible.
I really love this receiver and highly recommend it. The only word of caution is for those who may want to run their receiver through an amp for massive towers or something, you'll need the step up to the 860 to have the preouts. This unit cranks out 90W constant though, so my Klipsch towers and 7.2 system sound really loud. I really can't imagine needing the preouts, but that's up to you.
I definitely recommend this receiver for the $500-$700 range. The only features missing from WAY high end units are the stuff for $25K theatres. The sound and video are here. Two HDMI 2.0a inputs for satellite and PS4/Netflix. Plenty more for other stuff.
The only complaint is that the connectors are very close together, as noted in other reviews. I recommend the plug "things" where you don't actually have to crank down the connectors. Ask your sales person if you don't know what I'm talking about.
Also, make sure you run your microphone that analyzes your room and tweaks the sound. It comes with the unit and only takes five minutes.
Explore your favorite Internet stations with this Denon 7.2 channel receiver with built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Connect multiple HDMI devices to the receiver through the six HDMI ports. The Denon Remote app lets you control this Denon 7.2 channel receiver with your portable Android, Apple or Kindle Fire device.

Bad. Don't buy it. Very Poor. No Star

Can't work wth Pandora. Bluetooth is very hard to connect. Media play sucks and unstable. AirPlay don't show up most of the time. Needs rebooting a lot. Just don't buy it.

I have to agree. It's a very buggy device that I would never recommend. And Denon support is horrible. No updates.

not a product issue but best buy issue. On picking this up I noticed box damaged. Associate says its fine, polystyrene will only be damaged.

The styrofoam packaging breaking gets this TV a 1-star rating?
This review should be taken down. This is clearly either a troll or a total psycho.

This receiver has hand shake issues that are unsolvable. Brand new (3 separate times) HDMI shielded gold plated $60.00 apiece connectors and this thing decides on it's own to look for a device and shut off intermittently on what you're watching. No (stable hand shake between HDMI ports. The Geek squad wants $150.00 to go to your home. $650.00 to make a $600.00 unit try to function is ridiculous and this thing is only 1 1/2 weeks old. When dish TV came out they tried to troubleshoot it and looked at the manual and laughed and said I wished I would have known you before you purchased it. This is the second one that replaced the first one. Yamaha what are you thinking???

I have never owned Dish, but with DirecTV if you mess with resolution settings there is sometimes a handshake issue while the DirecTV receiver stumbles trying to display the native resolution, which can throw any HDMI receiver connection off.
Also, if you do not know how to use the "HDMI Control" settings, you need to contact Yamaha. There are several settings that could have been adjusted by yourself with the assistance of Yamaha.
So far, both of the questions I had for Yamaha were immediately answered and in a way that resolved my issues.
