So Far So Great!

I needed to get a phone asap because my out of warranty LG G4 boot looped. I really loved that phone and after quickly reading reviews about the G5 and playing with it in person at Best Buy, I thought it seemed great. So far I haven't been disappointed!

First and foremost it is important to point out that even though I purchased the unlocked version, I have a US Warranty for 1 year. I have read that if you purchase a Samsung model unlocked, it does not come with the warranty. This is super important to me based on my past experience so points for LG for that (you should confirm re: Samsung before you make a final decision).

I LOVE the upgrade to the fingerprint sensor, it is pretty amazing and works great. The camera is awesome!!!! I'm in love. And not only can you take those cool wide angle photos, there are other photo features too, such as pop out photos and multiple frames.

It's pretty speedy and I haven't had any issues with it.

I didn't buy it for its modular capabilities which seem to be in the early stages. I don't anticipate using the "friends." I do love, however, that I have expandable storage and a removable battery. Those 2 features (plus the camera) sold me on LG in the first place.
