I am disappointed with the buttons and top load design for the phone. The silence button is hit and miss if it connects to the phone and will occasionally turn the phone to vibrate. The 5S control buttons were more solid and just easier to press. The 6 side buttons are more flush and just do not seem to have the responsiveness like the previous version. See the design difference in picture. I am going to exchange it today after 40 days of use. I would still recommend this case, but if the button issue is the same on the new one, I will drop the rating and remove recommendation.

I have used the Rugged Ipad Air version for business and personal use for over a year waiting for the Air 2 release. Thinking this case would never be released, I researched, tried out and returned the Zagg Slim Book (looks nice, but not for me) and the New Trent Airbender (priced right under $40 but not for power users). ClamCase is nice, but requires a headphone adapter with most headphones.
Rugged Pros:
○Fits perfect, great protection and durability. Excellent grip as well vs smooth plastic or metal.
○Access holes give plenty of room for non Apple chargers and headphone connections.
○Keyboard functions well and battery life is great.
Rugged Cons:
○Being "Rugged" does make it a little heavier/thicker than its competitors.
○Zagg removed keyboard dimming and color options.
○Price is a little steep so if your iPad does not leave home often it may not be worth the investment.

Overall, great keyboard case. It is worth a look and Best Buy has a nice return policy if you are disappointed. Tip: hinge is magnetic and will hold (not secure) your pen.
