Good sound, but they broke under normal use

I wish I could write a good review for these because they sounds pretty good and they're pretty comfortable (I would give a 4-star review if not for the fact they broke), but these headphones broke under normal use after only six months. Kind of a bummer for such a pricey headphone.
On Amazon, I have seen similar problems reported with the headphones breaking. Could be an expensive-for-consumers design flaw.
