The NETGEAR Dual-Band AC1750 Router with 16 x 4 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem provides very fast cable speeds with an AC1750 WiFi router and integrated DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem, up to 680 Mbps. Compatible with cable Internet providers such as XFINITY from Comcast, Spectrum, Cox, Cablevision, and more.
I was looking for a 16 channel DS DOCSIS 3 modem & it was between this & the Arris modem. I chose this because the Wi-Fi options built in to this are a great deal.
The problem is that after 1-2 days, the device decides to randomly reset itself. Sometimes once, sometimes up to 3 in a row, leaving the house without internet for 10+ minutes.
This is a common issue with the device I've discovered after doing some more research. It's been happening on TWC for a few months & the Cox users in my area are seeing the same issue. Signal strengths are all in the good range & all 16 channels lock as they're supposed to.
Another fun tidbit - there is no way for the owner of the device to do a firmware update. Per the Netgear website, the ISP must push the updates to your device. I have a firmware number not even listed on Netgear's site & still can't stay connected more than 8 hours at a time.
Stay away until Netgear corrects their connection problems.

Great....when it isn't rebooting itself.

Going back & forth between Cox & Netgear support led me to the rearrange the splitters on my cable feed to increase the signal to the modem. Signal strength now showing between -2 & 0 dBmV & we are staying connected.
Most ISP support pages advise that signals between -5 & 5 are acceptable. Don't believe it. This device is more sensitive & needs to have a solid signal or possibly a second dedicated line from the ISP to stay connected.

Technically, yes although I can't get it to stay connected more than 8 hours at a time. It is still very buggy it seems & plenty of other users have seen the same thing if you do some searching.
