Well Rounded Mid Tier PC
on February 15, 2017

I needed a new Lenovo desktop after I bricked the motherboard's BIOS chip in my old PC (Lenovo H430 i5-2320) trying to update it to get the PC to recognize a EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. After looking at the options I settled on this 90FB0001US because I knew I was going to swap out the NVIDIA GT 730 with above video card and liked that has a hybrid drive (SSHD) were the other Intel i5 IdeaCentre models have a standard hard drive and a solid-state drive (SSD). I always take the old hard drive and install them in the new PC. Other than the EVGA GTX 1050 Ti I also did do some upgrades such as 4x 4GB DDR4 G.Skill RAM and a Pioneer Blu-ray burner. I am very happy, it's a well rounded mid tier gaming PC. Everything is so quiet very little fan noise.
If one is looking to make this computer a gaming PC take a look at all of the latest NVIDIA Pascal architecture GTX 1050 options that only pull the power they need from the PCI Express. Just make certain it doesn't have a six pin power connector on the board and you'll be gaming in no time at all.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I want to upgrade the GT 730 to a gaming card, but the PC has a 250W proprietary PSU. Other Ideacentre 710s use a GTX 750 & GTX 960 with a 400 Watt PSU to run a faster card. How can I purchase this bigger 400W PSU with a 10 pin plug to run a faster card?
