For the money, this is hard to beat. Can play most things without a hitch on medium to high settings. My only complaint is the Hybrid Drive in this is not very good so shutting down all the way can take upwards of 45 seconds and boot ups can take about 30. I think turning off indexing will help shut down times, but I may be wrong. The wi-fi card is very good on this model, I have gotten well over 100 mb/s using it. Last thing, the battery life is absolutely awful, but this is a slim gaming laptop, and that is a sacrifice that must be made.

I got this through AT&T for about $30 because of my parents dinosaur contract and a special they had going on. I have to say that was probably one of the worst decisions I have ever made.
First impressions:
All two stars of this review go to the fact that the packaging is sweet and the actual device is gorgeous, has a great feel in the hand, the carrying sleeve is convenient, and it's pretty light.

The Audio:
Incredibly enough, this speaker has managed to have almost no redeemable qualities in the audio department. The Studios sound like garbage, but the bass is incredible. Not only does this sound bad, but it's also got literally no bass output. The thing is insanely tinny, I listen to metal, some rap, and some pop. Amazingly enough, none of these genres shined on this speaker. To top this off, the only way this device even seems loud is by the fact that it distorts so badly your ears start shrieking for help.

This is literally only valid for maybe 15 feet. When I noticed that it cracked at a little ways away I died. Also, want to walk through a door? Nope. Garbage range, seriously.

How'd it hold up:
Well, the speaker grills fell off on their own about a month in. The quality of sound got worse and worse, the battery life followed suit. Eventually the thing decided it would only hold a Bluetooth connection for a couple songs at a time. Long story short, it fell apart faster than an indy car on impact with a wall. I was almost impressed.

Overall:
Typical Beats, mediocre product that justifies it's price tag with insane amounts of "swag". You want to buy it to look good? Go for it. You want decent sound? Get a Bose Soundlink Color, a JBL Charge, or even a TDK. You want decent battery life and range? Get a Sol Republic Deck.

As a bit of an audio nut I picked up these and some C5s at the same time. They both fit the ways you'd expect, with these wanting a much better source than my Note 3, and the C5s shining on either source. The audio on these is incredible on a decent source. On my phone there is good quality, but not the "sitting right next to a live band" feel you get when these have the power they want. I'll go more in depth on some particular songs at the end, but first comfort. As someone with goofy large ears and a big noggin, these are comfortable for a couple hours if I don't have my glasses on. With my glasses on, they are a bit tight and very noticeable after an hour and a half or so. The build is fantastic and the case is nice. Very luxurious head phones to look at for sure. As far as songs go, I don't have a dedicated external headphone amp yet, still deciding which route to go, but these were listened to off of my programming/gaming rig which has an Asus ROG motherboard which has a decent headphone amp built in.
Make Them Suffer-Elegies: I am a metal head primarily and this is probably my baseline song because there is a ton going on. This song is an atmospheric story telling of how the vocalist lost someone very near and dear to him, his screams, the furious instrumentals, the sad piano, and explosive breakdowns typically put headphones to the test. These pass that test very well. They capture the music in a big way. Every instrument has it's place and the atmosphere is flawlessly created for a heartwrenching experience.
Hans Zimmer- The Dark Knight soundtrack is incredible on these. Really nothing more I can say other than if you have ever seen an orchestra perform this type of music in an auditorium, that is how these headphones sound. Incredible.
Magna Carta Holy Grail: I don't really like or listen to rap much, but this song is well produced so it's a good test. These wouldn't be the ideal rap headphones to say the least, the piano and JT really sound awesome, the bass is not incredibly powerful, these are very much rock and classical headphones, which is perfect for me, but if you listen to electronic or rap, I would look into V-Moda Crossfades or Sol Reoublic Master Tracks.
Overall, if you listen to music deep into instrumentals and singing or screaming vocals, these are perfect!

Fantastic earbuds, had a few months to try them out and really break them in and they truly are impressive. Even with a garbage source like my Note 3, these things shine! They are very bass heavy at times but I listen to a variety of music and I'll leave some impressions by song/artist below. But, I will openly say I would call myself an audiophile, but I am not the type of audiophile who buys into marketing gimmicks like wires and other stuff to make myself feel fancy. As far as comfort goes, these are the most comfortable earbuds that actually stay in that I have used, I wear them to the gym and have no issues as far as falling out goes, and no problems with discomfort. I do acknowledge that I have large, goofy ears and that may be part of why I have no issues with comfort.
Make Them Suffer-Elegies: I am a huge metal head so naturally my first song is one of my favorites by an incredible band. This song is a heartwrenching tale of how the vocalist has lost someone dear to him and these earbuds make it easy to feel that emotion. His gutwrenching screams have all the emotion that was meant to be packed into them, the piano has all the dismal tones it should, the cymbals crash, the bass kicks, and the breakdowns are as explosive and furious as they should be. Only complaint is that during the bass drop of the breakdown the bass is a bit overpowering at the "sweet spot" for these buds. Great experience,
Hans Zimmer-I listened to two soundtracks, Interstellar and The Dark Knight. These really shine on well recorded classical type music, the deep string instruments are very powerful as well as the horns. All the high notes are captured and the soundstage manages to be very airy for earbuds. Incredible.
Magna Carta Holy Grail- I really don't listen to much rap, but I know many people do. This song is well produced and it shows on these earbuds. The bass in it sounds clean without being overpowering, JT's voice is clear, Jay-Z's lyrics are easy to understand, and the piano is beautiful.
Really great earbuds, as someone without over ten pairs, my favorite. Sound is relative, but these are very balanced for any music and I'd venture to say have enough bass to make a basshead happy with some EQ tweaks.

No, cooling is still too much of an issue at this point in time. The Thinkpad Yoga has an 840m though.

How many hours can you be using it before it runs out of battery
When not gaming I have seen about 4.5, when gaming full throttle around an hour. The processor alone in this laptop consumes over three times the power of a standard laptop, with the added consumption of the GPU battery life tanks.

i think it doesn't :(
It does not internally, but it comes with a cd/dvd writer and reader in the box for external use. Removing the internal cd drive improves cooling substantially, so you'll be better off without it!
