I use this external to edit video on my MacBook Pro using Final Cut Pro X. It's the same as using an internal HD in my opinion.
I see no slow down, I can edit at full speed.

I love how small this thing is and it's so light that I can pick up my laptop and move it and the extreme 500 will just dangle off the side and not disconnect!!! That right there is worth the price of admission!

I already had a pair of these for myself but I picked up the pink pair for my girlfriend. We use the share me function to share music between each other. This is great when you're waiting in line or on the airport or in an airplane what a cool feature, she loves them!

Great headphones! I have been using these for about 3 months now. I have them connected to my iPhone, ipad, MacBook Pro, Apple TV 4, and Amazon Fire tv stick.

But hands down the coolest part of these headphones is the ability to connect to another set of head phones share what your listening to!!! I share my music with my gf, or when we are waiting some place we can watch a movie together (on the airplane, waiting in line at Disney, etc).
No other headphones do this!

I upgraded from the 60D and this is a huge improvement. The main feature for me was the continuous auto focus in video mode, amazing. If the new 80D isn't much more I would grab that one if I was you.
I use this with a 50mm and the 10-22mm canon lens. I also use a rode mic and the Joby slr zoom tripod.

Nothing makes your production sound more professional than proper audio and that's exactly what this will do for you. This is permanently attached to my 70D! The battery seems to last forever writing since Christmas I have only replace this battery twice. The difference this made is something that I cannot describe in words.

Most versatile tripod on the market

I love this tripod. I use it almost every single day. I've wrapped around shopping carts around the headrest of a car on the staff of a boat it's really really really useful. It also makes a great selfie stick.
That being said. The feet WILL SLIDE on a smooth surface resulting in your camera falling, my solution to this is to put something under the feet like a towel so it stops the feet from sliding (one towel that all 3 feet go on)
Also make sure the tripod mount screw is SUPER TIGHT! It will loosen over time!

Coolest mouse out there but expensive

This is the coolest, cleanest mouse out there. So much so that when they updated it, they didn't even change the design! It's comfortable but your palm might cramp if it's an all day thing. Touch controls are the same as on the MacBook series track pad.

Dollar for dollar this is the Best Buy for your money on any canon glass. You will take AMAZING pictures with this lens. Low light = no problem with its 1.8.
If all you have is your kit lens, stop reading this and add it to your cart, you'll love it.
For $99-130 it can not be beat.

I received the gopro silver for Christmas along with the suction cup for my Dashboard mount for my truck and for my Lincoln. I cleaned the dashboard in both vehicles and the suction cup would not work. I called the (888) number and that was no help. I will take the gopro back to Best Buy if I can't get it to work.
You do realize that it's not a "dashboard" mount right?
Dashboards have a bunch of small crevices (this is to help prevent cracking from the sun).
Those crevices make using a suction cup really hard.
Try mounting it to the window, I often mount mine behind the rear view mirror.

Non of the hero 4 cameras come with a remote (that stopped with the hero 3+)

Can you zoom with this? How far does it reach otherwise. Im using it while deer hunting
This is a wide field of view camera not a zoom.
You could get the hero 5 session record in 4K and the edit in 1080, giving you the ability to zoom in 4 times at full res in post.
FYI Most action cameras are wide not zoom.

Is the battery replaceable after its service life has ended? Or is this a disposable camera?
I have been using mine for about a year and the battery life of this camera continues to surprise me.
