I love this laptop so far, HP finally has got things right. First off I immediately replaced the 1tb hard drive for a Solid State drive and I recommend everyone else do the same. This makes the laptop even faster, it's pretty easy to do. Note: There are 2 screws under the back 2 feet for anyone that goes to do it. Screen is bright and crisp, full HD. Love the backlit keyboard, the bang and olufsen speakers are amazing, didn't expect such great sound quality from a laptop. The screen goes all the way around flat to be used as a tablet with the touchscreen which is a nice feature. This laptop has 2 USB 3.0 ports, 1 USB Type C port, HDMI, headphone/mic jack, and built in sd card reader. Another thing I like about HPs is they still have indicator lights, there is a power on light, hard drive activity light, AND a light that turns orange when the battery is charging and white when it's done, this is VERY helpful and many other brands like Dell, Lenovo, and ASUS don't have any of these indicator lights anymore. Battery life will depend on what you are doing of course and screen brightness but I get over 5 hours with average use. Overall great laptop and I highly recommend.

Really solid laptop, the whole casing is aluminum and not cheap plastic so it's very durable. The thing I really like about this one is the bottom panel comes off and you have easy access to everything including hard drive, memory, wireless card, cmos battery and others, very easy to upgrade stuff. I through a solid state drive in it right off the bat and it starts up in around 10 seconds, I can't go without a solid state anymore. Backlit keyboard is really nice, can't go without that anymore. Can't beat the price, it's a really solid laptop for the price. Has a touchscreen, it folds into stand mode which would be nice for like watching movies, videos, or playing games. Has no DVD drive but you can get a cheap usb dvd drive for like $20. Full HD screen which really surprised me at this price. Only thing that bugs me because i'm an IT guy is lack of indicators, no hard drive light, no light letting you know it's fully charged, only lights up when it's on and when it's plugged in, not very intuitive there, but that's nitpicking. Runs extremely cool thanks to the 5th generation Intel processor, as well as me switching out for a solid state. Average battery life for me is between 4-5 hours depending on the load. Touchpad is okay, functional, but it's one solid button instead of having separate buttons for the left and right clicking. Another thing that amazes me at this price point is the fact that it has dual band AC wireless in it. Speakers get very loud and are better than others that I've seen. Overall really great laptop for the price, $449 still a good deal, if you can get it on sale for less than it's a steal.

I've had several cheaper tablets including the brand new $49.99 Kindle Fire and I didn't not have a good experience with that. The new fire os was buggy and just a mess compared to android lollipop which is what is on this digiland tablet. Also the kindle fire only can do amazon apps and there are major titles still missing from the amazon app store that are only in the play store. This tablet can not be beaten for value. It's running lollipop which was the newest up until marshmallow. It has a quad core processor and a 1gb of ram which I've played a bunch of games including plants vs zombies 2, angry birds 2, and a bunch of other with zero lag or problems. The screen is IPS so it's not like the previous junk tablets around this price range. Very surprised at how nice this tablet is for the price. The only downfall to this tablet is the battery life is only up to 4 hours because it's a smaller battery (2100mah), which is smaller than most smartphone batteries. But if shorter battery life isn't an issue then this is a great tablet because it has the full android play store, vanilla android with no skins on top. I'm also using a 64gb micro sd card in it with no problems, minor thing is it does not support exfat so when I inserted my 64gb exfat card it immediately wanted to format it to fat32, shouldn't be an issue as my movies are under 4gb which is the limit to fat32. The tablet has an update to make it more stable out of the box and it NEEDS an SD card in it to do the update because it downloads the update to the sd card. So first thing when you get this tablet, put a microsd card in and perform the wireless update under settings and about tablet so you don't have any issues. Speaker seems to be not quite as loud as others but can't really expect too much from this. One last important thing, this tablet supports OTG over microusb!! Meaning if you get an OTG adapter online you can plug in flash drives or micro sd cards into this through the micro usb port and see them on the tablet! Was not expecting a cheap tablet to have OTG support. Overall this tablet is excellent for the money, only a few downfalls, but for the price you can't complain.

The reason I went with this one over the others is that it had an easy access panel on the bottom for the memory the wireless card which made it easy to add more ram right off the bat. I threw another 4gb stick in so now it has 8gb, I also upgraded the wireless card to dual band with bluetooth because it came with single band with no bluetooth. I've seen online that you can add up to 16gb in this laptop but I haven't tried that because I don't see a need for it in this for my purposes. The screen is really good, fan is quiet, keyboard is really nice to type on, touchpad actually works fairly well unlike some other laptops and has dedicated click buttons which I like. The webcam I believe is only VGA if I remember so the webcam is not the greatest but I never use it anyways. It has 2 USB 3.0 ports and 1 2.0 port and an SD card reader which is awesome. Has an internal dvd burner which is a little harder to come by nowadays. I also replaced the hard drive with a Seagate solid state hybrid drive to make it boot up and run a little faster because I'm used to using a solid state on my desktop. The hard drive was not quite as easy to get to, had to take all the screws out of the bottom, take the keyboard out and lift the top cover off to get to the hard drive, very tricky if you've never done it before so be careful if you attempt, look at the service manual from hp before you attempt this. Also the battery is removable which is another rare thing these days, a lot of them are internal and a pain to replace. The laptop has an AMD A6-5200 which is actually very snappy, I was surprised how snappy it was being a lower level AMD but it performs well. With all other AMDs it does run a bit warm if you're doing quite a bit on it so make sure to keep the fan vent clear and clean (every couple months it should be blown out). Speaker get very loud so that was nice as well. The only thing on this guy that's not very good is the battery life, I use battery bar to track my battery life statistics and I average about 2 1/2 hours of battery life out of this, and that's with usually fairly high brightness and actually using it quite a bit so it'll depend on your screen brightness and what you're all doing on it. Overall excellent laptop for the money, can't go wrong.

I've had this phone for a few weeks now and I can honestly say it's not bad. My biggest gripe with the phone is that it has no notification light and the battery life could be a little better, I struggle to get through a whole day with it even if I work all day and barely use it. If I'm using it fairly steady it will need to be plugged in a couple times a day. I may trade up to the studio energy which is basically the same specs as this except the battery is twice as big. The 8mp camera actually takes pretty good pictures and it has zero shutter lag in well lit scenarios which is nice. The front camera being 2mp takes pretty decent selfie pictures. Basic functionality such as calls work well which is a must and sometimes forgotten on these high tech smartphones. It's only 4G hspa so that means theoretically up to 21mbps, no LTE for data, but with cricket my speed is capped anyways so I don't see the limitation, but you might actually using at&t which doesn't throttle the speeds. Overall decent phone, if you're looking for amazing battery life look at the Blu Studio Energy instead, a little more but twice the battery so you can last for days instead of under a day.

It wouldn't be a bad basic smartphone if it didn't have the issue with not having an overflow button. So apps like Fuel Log where you need the overflow button (3 dots on newer androids) you will be totally unable to use that function in those apps.

It's a real shame that this sound bar has really low volume and overly spaced volume curve because it sounds really good. You'll find a lot of times that you'll turn the soundbar all the way up and it won't be loud enough. Also when you adjust the volume the volume jumps a lot, it's always too loud or too soft, and that drives me nuts so I'm going to return it for a different one. But despite those major downfalls the sound is excellent, great bass. But because of those two downfalls I can't recommend this model.

You can't go wrong with this laptop. It comes with 6gb of ram but I put an extra 8gb stick in to make it have 12gb, so now I have an i5 with 12gb of ram, not bad at all. On this laptop you have to take everything apart to get to the ram underneath the motherboard but that's how most laptops are nowadays. Also put a 240gb solid state drive in so it boots up in like under 10 seconds, upgraded to windows 10 and it runs beautifully. Battery life is about 3 hours or so depending on the load. Laptop feels really solid overall unlike some of the older HPs that seem more flimsy. Speakers are pretty loud for this unit, has a DVD drive even though that's not used much anymore. Has only 1 USB 3.0 port which is kind of a bummer, should have most by now I would think. Overall excellent laptop for the money.

This is an excellent laptop, much higher build quality then I was expecting. I love the backlit keyboard which was the main reason I went for this model. The lighting is really good, has two brightness levels, and the keyboard has a very nice high quality feel to it. The keyboard is tight feeling and quiet, not cheap and clicky feeling like the cheaper laptops. The number pad is also really nice. The touchpad also works well too. I don't really miss having a DVD drive all that much, my old one had it and I didn't really use it ever so I won't miss having that. The battery is underneath the bottom cover, it does lift up and out for replacement but it's not hot swappable like the older laptops. The battery life that I have gotten so far has been around 3.5 hours but that has been with fairly heavy usage including installing stuff on battery, I will update if the average goes up more with lighter usage. The fan on this does seem to run a little louder than my older hp but it's not really that noticeable unless you're in a totally silent room. That being said the laptop does stay very cool. The speakers are pretty good but you need to tweak them with the waves maxx audio and they sound great and are pretty loud. Another thing I like about this laptop is that on the bottom it has a nice easy access panel with 2 screws and you have easy access to the hard drive, wireless card (m.2) and the 1 ram slot (which maxes at 8gb anyways). Swapped the samsung spinpoint 5400rpm hard drive it came with for a seagate solid state hybrid drive and that made it quite a bit more responsive. The hard drive was definitely the bottleneck in this laptop but once I swapped the hard drive for an sshd it is much better, a straight ssd would probably make it even faster. The screen on the laptop get's really bright and then gets really dim for at night which is great. It also doesn't seem to be as shiny as some laptops almost like a bit of antiglare but yet not matte, it just seems to be a really nice middle of the road. Talking about the weight, this thing is quite light with it having no dvd drive and being thinner, I have it in my backpack and don't really notice carrying it unlike my older laptops which made my back hurt. The top cover is a nice brushed aluminum, really makes it seem like it's a more expensive laptop, the plastic also seems higher quality, not that shiny stuff that gets fingerprints all over. Overall I highly recommend this laptop for someone looking for a really high quality built laptop for under $500 with a backlit keyboard and who can live without a dvd drive.

After searching for a deal, I decided to go with this laptop. My old laptop was another brand which I preferred but I figured I'd try to save $100. In order to show an unbiased opinion, it shall remain nameless. First of all if we're talking looks, it's average, pretty standard, no big deal. However, the cover will pick up every single fingerprint you have but that is the least of my worries. Second of all, this thing lags and is painfully slow. I know well enough that it's not my internet. When trying to browse Firefox, this thing has to catch up to what I'm typing in the address bar. I've updated and updated and updated this computer. I do not understand why something with an A8 processor, and 4 gigs of ram cannot smoothly run Adobe Illustrator. I'm not working with huge files here or rendering video. Other cons, the obnoxious bloatware of course and a popup for HP pops up and asks me if I'd like to send reports every time I start the computer. If you want something to watch netflix, type papers, and check e-mails and facebook, this laptop might be for you.

I would like you to go and try one of those other $200 laptops that have a celeron and then use this. This laptop is actually quite good for the price in my opinion, the AMD A8 is between an Intel i3 and an i5 combined with the Radeon R5 graphics. If you're expecting blazing fast go drop $500+ on one.

One pixel is missing which i can see all of the time but its not a huge deal, I havent used it much since purchasing but it seems to be average speed, just a good computer for the cost of an i5 and lots of storage.

I'm amazed by how many people have given it a good review. I may have just gotten a lemon but this thing was like watching paint dry,grass grow or a sloth move. No matter what I tried or did same result it would take over an hr to download a simple bingo game that on my phone took seconds. Not to mention watching online movies was as bad or worse in the fact that it wouldn't even load up. And while charging it would get extremely hot in one spot on back of tablet. So in my experience and opinion DO NOT BUY IT.

Yep you got a bad one, mine works perfectly and nothing like yours. But I also did the software update right away when I got it, I would hope you did the software update with the sd card or exchange the unit.

I bought this smartphone and took it to ATT store to have new SIM card slotted into the smartphone.
However, AT&T had problems with it and told me to return back to Bestbuy.
I returned it and received another new similar Blu Advance.
Same problem appeared.
So, I returned BLU Advance and got my money back.
No more BLU phone for me.

Returning this tomorrow. I searched the wifi issue and found this is a common issue with this computer. I reset the computer and it still drops wifi. I did the adjustments to the computer settings that was recommended on the Lenovo trouble shooting help page and it still drops the wifi. Who knows maybe I bought a defective laptop. Maybe not. Good luck. I don't recommend this computer.

You must have a bad one because I have no problems connecting to like 5 different wifi connections including 2.4ghz, 5ghz, N and AC wireless, but I also updated my wifi driver and all other drivers to the newest for stability right away when I got it.

I didn't have the move the 10 license because the license is embedded into the motherboard, as long as you reinstall the same windows 10 (I used the recovery flash drive I made before switching out the drive to reinstall windows 10) and it activated by itself because of the embedded key. If you have never replaced a hard drive in a laptop before I would be weary of doing this yourself, just search online or on the site for solid state or SSD, you can get a 240gb SSD for like $70 on sale. You have to make the recovery drive with the original drive first before swapping it out for a SSD though. Still working like a charm, super fast with the 240gb SSD I put in it.

Bought on Black Friday great deal but only if it works. That's where it goes wrong . Called NetGear they tried to work on it then had 3 different Geek Squad persons to work on the problem with me on the laptop and router they couldn't solve the problem either..... So off to the store we go again to return this piece of junk... I think Best Buy needs to look at what they are selling and they claim to be better quality than walmart but i'm believe they are not....

Reviews like this about getting a defective unit and not trying a replacement and then bashing both companies are ridiculous. You will see defective units no matter where you get them, welcome to the new age of electronics, get used to it.

can you to connect bluetooth headphones in this laptop?
Not without getting a usb bluetooth adapter because this laptop does not have bluetooth built in unless you upgrade the internal wireless to one with bluetooth.
