Carry your work as you travel with this Acer Chromebook laptop computer. It's powered by an Intel Celeron processor with 4GB of RAM so programs run smoothly, and it has 32GB of flash storage to hold plenty of files. This Acer Chromebook laptop computer has an 11.6-inch screen for clear, sharp graphic images.

Incredibly good for the price

Bought this as a second, more portable laptop. It works great, display might only be 1366*768 but I found the resolution enough for browsing the web, you can definitely see the individual pixels though. It's also an IPS screen, which means great viewing angles and nice contrast and colors. The CPU, while only a Celeron (it's actually one of the faster Celerons for a Chromebook, and it's quad-core), was good enough for general use. I very rarely noticed any slowdown, although I generally have less than 10 tabs at a time. Starts up really fast from completely off (maybe 8 seconds?).
Touch screen works perfectly, and so did the 360 degree hinge. Using this fully folded around is great for watching videos and movies. Battery life is great. Speakers are pretty good too. I love that this has a full size SD card slot too, so my cards from all my cameras fit right in. You can even use an SD card as storage for the laptop for saving movies and music. The keyboard is nice, however I didn't really like the feel of the trackpad.
I was considering getting the ASUS C302 before deciding on the Acer R11, but ultimately, the price difference lead me to get this one. The C302 is $500! Almost twice as much as this. Sure, it's a better laptop but is it twice as good? Definitely not. I am very happy with my decision to get this. At $260, you really get a lot for what you pay.
I would recommend this to a friend!
