I thought I was getting an upgrade from previous blu-ray player. This is my second unit in two days. Both units shut off after about 15 minutes of play back while watching a blu-ray movie. My old Phillips BD never had this problem.

Picked this TV up before Thanksgiving. I had tried the LG 49UH6030 model from another store. Sports did not look good on the LG. They look great on this tv! Watched Art of More on Crackle and the picture looks 4k. Also have PSVue which is available as built in APP. It automatically saw my (DLNA) video server and streams them directly. In order to get xbox1s to recognize 10bit HDR You need to go to home>settings>external inputs>enhanced format.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not good for Sports uneven blacks

First thing I noticed is that TV had major cloudiness on left side and light bleed noticedable in blacks. The other draw back was TruMotion for Sports is terrible.
Football with sports setting on while watching PSVUE from a PS4 it actually looks worse. Big pixelization around fast moving body motion and legs. Its better with TruMotion off but not anywhere as good as my 1080 vizio

I NEED A HDMI CABLE FOR THIS SET
Yes you would need one to hook up a external device. No HDMI cable provided.
