Had issues, but read the whole review.

This is a critical review, but if you're thinking about buying this computer please read the last few sentences at the bottom.
.I wanted to really love this computer, and while I think it's a great computer mine had major issues right out of the box. The first time it booted up the way it went about it just seemed off from my experiences of other brand new computers being started for the first time.
After DLing a 4gig update, again weird, it got through all the registration and warranty stuff. My old computer that this one replaced was an original gen. I3 with 4G of ram. This ASUS was slower! Investigating showed the drive was being used at 100% all the time. This seems to be a fairly common problem on Windows 10, so I spent 3-4 hours (on a brand new computer mind you) trying everything I could find on the new to fix it. Nothing worked.
I decided to do a factory reset and see what that might fix. After the reset the computer booted up totally different from the first time, the screens were different, the options were different, just different.
Anyway, after getting all the initial bootup stuff completed, the hard drive problem was still there. A few weird things happened after this bootup. I signed up for the free 25G Dropbox offer and since I already have an account I received an Email from Dropbox that I had logged on with a Windows 8 computer! Hmm.
I took the computer back to BB abd let the geeksquad have a look. They changed some settings but the HD problem never went away. They theorized that this model was originally a W8 computer but was upgraded to W10 at the factory. Instead of the factory using a clean W10 install, they used a W10 upgrade and something went wrong on this particular computer. That would also help explain the 4G worth of updates on the first bootup
They didn't have any more in stock at this store, and I didn't want to drive to another store and couldn't wait for one to ship so I exchanged it for a different brand computer.
All that being said, if they had another in stock at my store I would have given it a second chance. I really liked this computer and the fingerprint scanner was awesome! As long as BB keeps their 15-day return policy I wouldn't hesitate to buy this computer. If there is going to be a problem you'll find it the first day and if a return is needed, it's easy and painless at your local store. My guess is you'll be fine, though, I probably got the rare lemon.

Noisy and wouldn't connect to my wireless

I use it for:Document printing
Verified Purchase:Yes
I knew I should have stuck with HP printers. I went with this one because the ink was cheaper, and the Canon rep. lied about it's capabilities. I was talking to another store employee about the guy lying and found out Canon/BB fired him a few days after we bought the printer.
This printer is LOUD!! It's a pretty sad testimony to this printer that it has to come with a "Quiet" mode!
Connection was a PAIN!!! I tried for hours and could not get it to connect. Then miraculously the next day it connected the first try. Of course 3 days later it dropped the connection, never to connect again. I'm glad I kept the box, because this thing went straight back to Best Buy.

You creep around the edge of the building, crouched low to avoid your enemy's gaze. As you edge closer to your target, you hear his ragged breathing and smile in anticipation. With him hostage, you'll gain all the experience points you need to attain the next level and move up the leaderboards. You jump around the corner, gun pointed straight at the Nazi's chest. "Surrender yourself immediately," you shout through the microphone as he slowly lowers his weapon. You step forward to collect your hostage, and everything goes blank. You've lost the connection. Easy set up, no problems at all

Bought this for my son's Xbox 360. His room is on the second floor, and I really didn't want to deal with a wireless adapter. The router is in my basement.
My house was built in the 1950's, so I was afraid the wiring wouldn't be up to Parr for this device. I believe they suggest that the transmitter and receiver be used on the same circuit when possible. Well, even on separate circuits, and old wiring this things still rocks!!!!
Plus this has 3-4 ports, so when I get an Internet ready TV for his room, I can just plug it right in. Nice.
Can't comment on speed or anything thru this as I haven't tested that. But I know we can stream netflix without a problem thru the 360 connected to it.
What's great about it: Easy, easy set up
What's not so great: Nothing so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Some good & some not so good.

I have had problems with the suction cup on my Garmin coming off the windshield so I thought this would be a good solution. When the suction cup stays in place it works great but several times the suction cup with the Garmin attached has slid off and ended up on the passenger floorboard. I use my Garmin all the time so I had hoped this would be a great solution. It is an OK solution. Still problems but better than before.

So the mount is fine, but the suction cup the Garmin supplies sucks, or more to the pont doesn't suck correctly.

Awful for a beginner
By Alex from Plano
This camera is expensive and not easy to use. Very difficult to take pics in the daytime/sunlight. You are not able to see the screen so you take pics at random and hope they come out. The features are not easy to learn. I am planning on returning this camera for something more suitable to my needs.

Look at the reviews for cameras with LCD viewfinders, they are all pretty much hard to see in the sun. As for features, you picked the camera, if it's too complicated for you it's not the cameras fault. You should review your review and either remove it or give the camera a fair review based on its capabilities and not your inabilities.
