Good performance, so/so visual design

My main use for this television is as a computer monitor and at small intervals, an ACTUAL television set. I found this set to be comparable or even cheaper in price when compared to an Insignia-brand model of the same size and features.
I've owned my set for a year and it's performed well every day. The picture quality is great, the speakers are clear (especially for built-in speakers), and I haven't experienced any issue with any of the ports (I connect to my PC using HDMI). I find the colors are correct and bright to my eye, and the images are tack-sharp.
Here are some cons. I noticed the television images are cropped further than usual and changing the aspect ratio doesn't help (images included). Operating the controls via rocker buttons (why?!) on the body is confusing, and after year, still gets me. The menu design is horrible, using kiddie-designed clip art. And the placement of the RF connector makes it awkward to say the least.
Overall, this television is a solid choice, and although there are some visual cons (especially the cropped television image), it is overall a good TV that competes with Best Buy's "house" brand.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can i use thi as a computer screen?
Yes, you can. This television has both a VGA input and HDMI ports, so you can use either format to connect your PC to the monitor.

Yes, a remote control is included with this television.

Are there buttons on the side of the TV for channels and sound??
There are buttons, located on the lower right hand side of the body. They're rocker buttons, like the type found on smartphones to control the volume.

How can I hook up ethernet cable to watch netflix since this tv doesn't have that port?
To watch ANY streaming service, such as Netflix or Hulu, you will have to get a streaming device, such as Roku, Chromecast, or AppleTV or use a gaming console (XBOX, PS4, etc) to access those services. As such, you cannot connect an ethernet cable to this television because it is not a SMART television.

Does it has ATSC tuner?
It does contain an ATSC tuner, so you can view digital stations. Unfortunately, it does not contain an analog tuner, so any low-power analog stations cannot be seen using this television.
