We love our new Canary! On top of giving us peace of mind when we leave the home, it's become a great way to spy on our adorable dog when we're at work. Because it's motion activated, any time the dog moves past or within range of it's wide sensors (and presumably if a thief entered our apartment) it sends a notification to your phone via the app. Additionally, you can use the "Watch Live" feature if you simply want to watch your dog/cat/child/spouse while they are at home and you're not. It's also got an elegant, sleek design that can easily blend into a bookshelf.
Some features I especially appreciate: the app sensing when I am "at home" and "away," for automated arming and disarming of the Canary; air quality & temperature monitors; being able to bookmark and comment on recorded video clips; and installation ease-- literally took us only 15 minutes!
In short: I highly recommend this as a product to renters and/or homeowners who want a cost-effective, simple way to secure their homes, with the added benefit of being able to connect to your family when you're away.
I would recommend this to a friend!
