Fantastic Computer For The Most Part
on March 19, 2017

I have owned this computer for a little over a week now. I spent months and countless hours researching for a computer that is built well, has a long battery life, and is very powerful. For the most part, those three things are listed in order of importance to me. This computer has delivered all three very well. The screen is beautiful, the CPU and RAM make it very powerful, and the ssd is lightning quick. The fact that it has a 2GB Dedicated card is amazing to me. Just to give a quick and simple example of the type of gaming I do, I run Battlefield 1 on it at 720p. I run BF1 at 720p because the graphics aren't a huge deal to me. I just want it to run the game smoothly and it does with ease. When I first got the game, I was running it at 1080p and it was doing just fine; however, I want a computer to run well and have a good battery life for as long as I can, so I didn't want to push the GPU to hard. There are very few things about the computer I do not like. For the most part, the fan noise and the heat the computer gives off when running hard is very loud and very warm. It's not that the noise bothers me, but more that it makes me nervous.
Overall, this computer is fantastic for someone who wants a powerful, thin, beautiful, and 15" computer that has a fantastic battery. When I bought this, it seemed to be everything I wanted and the best option. I just saw that Dell has released a new 15" XPS that has a quad core i5 (which is more powerful than the dual core i7 in this), a GTX 1050 GPU, and a supposedly beautiful screen for 1599. I am very torn between keeping this or exchanging it because I would LOVE a GTX 1050 and a quad core CPU. If one does not need or want those things, then this computer is what I would get because the feature for a screen that can flip around and a pen is actually quite convenient. The battery in the Spectre is about 2-4 hours better. A couple final things to note about this computer: The keyboard is very very nice, the tracpad feels great, and the entire computer is just so beautiful.
My Best Buy number: 298417574
I would recommend this to a friend!
