I had the first generation 3ds and grew tired of using it because the 3D needed work as any deviation from center caused the 3D to blur and made my eyes hurt. Well they must have listened because the latest one is fantastic. The tracking works best in normal light. Bright back lighting like the sun will cause the 3D tracking to screw up and darkness will cause the same reaction. The screen size is a vast improvement over the first generation as well. Seems a bit faster than the first one, but not that noticeable. I would recommend this to anyone that either doesn't have one or has the first generation. Well worth the upgrade.

I recieved this for Christmas because the Christmas before we purchased this for the grand daughter and I couldn't believe how cool it was! The autonomous action is fun just to watch. We have dogs and they like to chase it around and bark at it. The controls are straight forward and easy to use. Laminate floors make it a challenge to get it to balance itself as they are too slippery. A tight knit carpet like burr burr or similar would be perfect. Plush carpet is not the recommended. Perfect for kids around 8 or so and adults that love robots.

I received this item for a birthday present. It is easy to use once you download the app on your tablet or phone. I use android and iOS to operate it. Would I spend the money to get this? No, however I am happy to get it as a present. I would recommend for any adult Star Wars collector. The head is delicate and it likes to collect dust, lint, and animal hair when it rolls around. It's faster and more durable than the other ones you can get, however it is the smallest of the three that are available. The internal gyro keeps the head steady once it gets moving. The patrol mode requires a bit of space and the voice commands are fun, however whether it learns from your voice and personality I don't know. Time will tell. The inductive charging base is pretty cool too.

Wait for a while

I would wait for a while if I could do it again. I was lucky in the sense that it worked and updated. I couldn't use it however because the network was down for a day. After gettin it to work I was disappointed in its lack of content. It's a more powerful version of the ps3 just with no library. Lots of lock ups and it does not multitask very well. Playing music unlimited and a game that says its compatible to be played at the same time and the music crashed. Locked up twice while trying to close applications. I would just wait a while and let all the bugs work out and for a worthy game library.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

will it work for a Galaxy S5?
No it won't. The s6 and s6 edge + are compatible.
