Over all this lens is a workhorse, it's my goto lens for weddings. 50mm is a great lens to use, but this goes just a bit further, and wide as I need. This is the middle range lens in the nikon trinity of lens. Love this lens and you will not be disappointed with it. I just wish they made a larger and faster, f2.0, with VR, not the f4.0 with VR they just came out with.....Visit us on the web at www.mtiphotographyllc.com

So I managed to snag this receiver for under $500 at Best Buy. This normally sells for $700, but was on sale for the week in the Magnolia section. This is replacing a bad Onkyo TX-NR609. I truly believed in Onkyo's products, but for some odd reason, lately, they have been making poor choices in materials to make a cheaper product. My Onkyo failed in 2 years of ownership. They did provide repair coverage for my unit, but I am moving on to a better brand, i think. This Pioneer VSX-70 is amazing. For even $700 it's not bad price. You get a lot of premium quality parts for that price. Bluetooth and Wifi aren't included, but are available as a add on. Personally, I do not need bluetooth or wifi, since I have a wired connection running to the receiver and I use Airplay. Overall, the build quality is on par with their elite series. For what I paid, I have not see another receiver to provide 8 HDMI inputs along with 2 outputs. This can do 3 audio zones and an additional HDzone. This also has a RS232 port that is compatible with professional installed remote systems. The sound is great, and clear and the OSD (On Screen Display) setup was a breeze. I think I have to go in and tweak the settings a little, but overall the system found that one of my speakers was out of phase, and told me which one to fix, pretty awesome!

Great Flash for all types of photography

I'm a professional photographer who owns a photography business named MTI Photography LLC, I primarily shoot events and weddings. This flash stands up to the performance I need. To doesn't overheat to much, but make sure you have enough batteries as this only will last about 250 shots. Lithium batteries will last about 350, but the recycle time is increased to 3.5 seconds vs 2.5 on Alkaline or Ni-Mh. Overall this is a great flash and I'm going to purchase another one to aid in filling up larger spaces in weddings. The only thing I wish it has was a socket for an external battery pack. That flash, best buy doesn't even sell, and it's over $500. I'll stick with this one for now.

Overall if you own a trailer, this is one that you should look at. Not many to choose from, but this one is known for keeping you safe while traveling with a trailer. If you like to camp, and want to avoid certain tunnels or sharp turns, get this and try it out. You may need to update it to a computer prior to using it though.

This is a great phone, I own the 64GB version. It is quick and fast and not bulky. I love the retina display as well. Overall the sound is great and the phone makes great calls. Games are fast and it's a pleasure to use Siri. I have tested the new iOS 7 on this phone and it works fine. It doesn't get bogged down or slow done. Ready for the future.

Overall, this is a great camera. Professionally I use D800 at my work, but for personal use this is perfect. This has the same image processor as the D800 but costs less than half. The sensor isn't full frame, but does have a larger pixel count. This keeps the pictures sharper, and also much better in low light conditions. Check out videos on youtube to see what I'm talking about.

So this unit replaces a BTU 9000 unit, very old, loud. This one I was worried about since it's bigger and larger. This one is very quiet for the size and I would recommend getting one if you can. This fits in most standard windows. I would advise to put a small piece of wood in the sill to make sure you do not damage your window.

Theses controllers are cheap, and i"m glad because over time, they can break if you handle them to rough. Overall they are great accessories and necessary for some games. You should definitely get it.

Overall, this isn't a bad unit. You get what you pay for. This is a great e-book reader and checking email. Don't expect to get a ton of work done on this thing. Screen quality is on par for this price point. I'm an apple guy and got this free with my Samsung F8000 TV. I use it as a remote and just to play around with. Coming from the iOS platform, the controls aren't as intuitive as I would think they should be. Apple definitely has a more streamlined approach.

Warranty just 1 year?
I see in the spec page of this lens that this lens has just 1 year limited warrenty? Does this mean this is a grey market piece? As far as I know,all Nikon lenses sold in US through authorized reseller network have total of 5 year warrenty.( 1 year standard + 4year extended)
This is a US product, not grey market. They only say 1 year since you must registered within 10 days of purchase to get the additional 4 years of extended service coverage. So it's really 1+(optional 4).

I purchased this lens last week and it doesn't seem to be working well with my D5200. Is this lense compatable with my the D5200?
I actually own a D600 and D5200. They should work perfectly together. Make sure you have VR on since it's hard to keep stable if you are all the way out in the range.

I have a d3100 and it came with the standard shooting lens- 18-55mm.
Im looking to be able to take portrait shots of my children and family. What lens do you reccommend?
The lens that comes with the kit is horrible. It's a basic lens and has ok glass. It makes photos have a slight halo and haze to them. I would upgrade and get the better 18-55mm lens at least...or upgrade and get a 14 or 10MM wide angle lens. You can really get up close and have a great depth of field when shooting portraits. Super Wide angle lens, have a higher price tag but the results are awesome.

Is this lens compatible with the D5100?
Absolutely. You just need to keep an eye out for AF-S. That means the focus motor is built into the lens. There's over 150 lens that Nikon makes so it shouldn't be an issue finding the perfect lens. I love this lens, I am an owner but I bought the D5200 that just came out.

I personally own this lens and it's worth it. You won't be disappointed. I wouldn't go any lower than this lens though. Better glass when you can spend more.

Is there any dvd/vcr combos out there that I can purchase that will allow me to watch one show and record the other?
I'm not sure if there are any, but if they are, you need to find one with Dual Tuners. Another way, is to get a Dual Tuner DVR system, and record them on that. Later archive them onto a DVD-R for safe keeping. I'm sure someone has made the device you want, it's just a case of how much you want to pay.
