Really quiet motor

This is a really nice grooming device for anybody that is in the market for one. The trimmer arrived with a completely drained battery, so this allowed me to really test and see if it truly completely charged in an hour. To my surprise, the battery was fully charged in a little less then an hour, so that was great.
I was expecting the trimmer to be a bit noisy like some of the others on the market, but to my surprise, it wasn't. Even on the "Turbo" setting it is still at a relatively low noise setting.
The trimmer comes with multiple attachments to get the job done faster. I have truly eliminated my scissors, and enjoy using this trimmer.
One thing that I do not like is the fact that the connection for the attachments are plastic, and I worry that they will break in the near future. I'm not sure how long they'll last, but I hope to get good use of these attachments, and the device, for a long time. Something else that I wish would be supplied is a better carrying case. It comes with a small bag, but I just hate having to dig through it to find a simple attachment. This can be remedied with a quick purchase over at Amazon. I've seen some really nice carrying cases at a really good price.
In all, if you are in the market for a nice grooming tool, I would recommend the Philips Norelco - Multigroom Series 7400 device. The knifes are really sharp and quick to cut. You can get the job done in no time.

Maybe for a beginner

Photoshop Elements 15 is a good beginner software if you are looking into getting involved with Photoshop. I was highly reminded of the photo editing software on my phone, but with much more capability of course.
It gets a bit complicated trying to download the software to your computer of you have no CD drive. It took me a while to do so. The Adobe website was really no help, and was just a trial and error type of deal.
Great for beginners, but might not be for advanced users.

Great for beginners

If you are thinking about getting involved with Photoshop, this is for you.This software is really easy to use, and reminds me so much of the photo editing app that I have on my phone. It's that easy to get started, but packed with many more features.
I did have issues downloading the software to my computer because I do not have a CD drive, but who does these days. It was a bit of a headache trying to get this software downloaded correctly, but I was eventually able to do so. The instructions provided on the Adobe website were of very little help.
I am using this on a touchscreen laptop, and really like to have control of the editing features with the touch of a finger. This is probably the only reason that I loaded onto my HP laptop over my Mac Book.
The only thing that I disliked about this software was the fact that it gets complicated trying to download it to my computer. If you have a CD drive, it might be easier and faster, but if not, be prepared to spend some time on it. For advanced Photoshop users, I would not recommend this software.

Needs more compatible devices

Google Home is a great device that will help your home stay connected. The device is just the perfect size for any home, and the looks aren't that bad.
The device is very easy to set up. You power it on, download the software to your smartphone or tablet, connect to wifi, and you're up and running in no time. It really doesn't get much easier than that. I'm certain that anyone can connect this device. When you're ready to link a compatible device to your Home system, you go into the app to do this. It's also a simple process that anyone can do.
This leads me to why I am only giving it three stars. There aren't many devices that are compatible with Google Home...yet. I hope that they work on this soon because I would definitely like to have more options. Another thing that I wish I could do is make calls through this device. This would definitely be a big plus for me.
Something else that I noticed this morning when I tried to ask Google Assistant a questions this morning was that my device lost WiFi connection. I know it's not my router because all of my other devices were connected. It took about five minutes to be back up and running. I'm not sure if this is a software glitch, or something else, but I hope this problem doesn't continue.
The "Google Assistant" is very responsive to my voice commands. I enjoy the ability of being able to ask for traffic information and ET to get to work in the morning through a voice command. I'm also able to get the news and various other apps. What I loved about this device is the fact that you're actually able to have full control of Pandora. You can control volume, switch stations, and turn it off. This is ALL achievable through voice command. I absolutely love that about this device.
Something I was absolutely amazed by was the sound quality of this device. When I first turned on Pandora on my Google Home device, I was blown away by the sound quality coming from such a small device. I truly enjoy listening to music on this device.
My goal is to make my home as "smart" and as efficient as possible. This device cuts it a bit short because there is still work that needs to be done to make it great. I would suggest starting off with making it more compatible with other smart devices. I'd like to have more options when deciding what to buy for my home.
If you are in the market for a device to make your home more connected, I would suggest exploring other option. Google needs to make their Google Home device more compatible with other smart devices in order to claim a victory. Amazon's Echo devices might be a better choice if you are looking to connect your home.
There is still work to be done here. I just hope that Google continues to work on improvements for this device, and does it soon.

Slowed Down My Devices

The Linksys WRT AC3200 is very easy to setup. A few terms and conditions agreements, software update, and it was up and running in no time. This is definitely the router for anybody who is not very tech savvy, as it is pretty much plug-and-play.
One big upside with the WRT AC3200 is the fact that it is very compact compared to to other similar routers. I found this to be the best quality of this router, as I was limited in space to put it.
As for the looks of the router, the surrounding antennas make it look like it's just going to fly into the air and go. Honestly, the black and blue Linksys signature color looks very nice. The router comes equipped with four ethernet ports, one USB 3.0 port, and a eSATA/USB 2.0 port. The router is Mu-MIMO compatible, ensuring faster connectivity speeds to your devices.
Something that I really like is Linksys network map. It allowed the user full control of all connected devices, and even allows you to name each device. You can click on the device that you want and setup parental controls and give you device details. Another thing that I really like about this is that it allows you to prioritize devices to ensure that they get the best performance if you like to stream a lot. This is very important for me, being that we have smart TV's around the house.
The price for the device is just right, considering all of the features that this router comes equipped with. One thing that I did notice, and is the reason for my three stars, is the fact that some of my devices were slowed down drastically. I notices that the videos I was trying to watch would pause and have to buffer. This is something that rarely happen with my previous router. I know it is not my internet connection because I compared internet speeds with my old router, and the speeds were more reliable on the older router.
If you are looking to save space, and want try-band technology, this is the router for you. It is very compact compared to other similar routers. It is extremely easy to setup. The only upset I saw was that some of my devices were slowed down. If you want something that is more reliable and faster, I would go with the Linksys AC5400, especially if you are a gamer or stream lots of movies.

Good Phone, but lacks features

Google's Pixel phone is a pretty nice looking phone that unfortunately lacks features that most of today's high end phones come with. It looks like the design was influenced by the iPhone's, as they look very similar. So, for those of you who refuse to cross over to the dark side, this might be an alternative.
I'll start off with what I liked about the phone. The battery life is amazing on this phone. Right out of the box, it came with about 43% battery life. I decided to try it out without charging it, and the results were pretty good. I did the usual; pictures, web browsing(lots of it), and just looking through all of the different features on the phone. I didn't charge the phone until the next day. The phone charges fairly quickly, and even displays battery time at the charges percentage that it is currently in. The phone comes with its standard USB-C cable, as well as USB to USB-c connector to use with regular car chargers.
Something else that I found pretty amazing was the picture and video quality of the phone. I took it to Half Moon Bay with me on Friday and snapped really amazing pictures and video with the phone. They are really nice and clear, and the photo editing options are also really cool. This is definitely a good phone if taking pictures is a big thing for you, which is most of us!
A big plus for me is that this phone is Project FI compatible. The ability to use this phone with pretty much any service provider makes it that much great. If you buy it directly from Google, I believe the phone will come unlocked, so that's something else to think about.
Now for the drawbacks of the phone. Google really dropped the ball on not making the phone water resistant. This is a feature that everybody needs and wants, especially since all of the other high end phones come equipped with such feature. If I am going to shell out my hard earned money in today's phone market, I would for sure want something that is waterproof/resistant.
Another thing that was disappointing was the sound quality. As I was listening to Pandora, I had the volume turned all the way up. I immediately noticed that instead of getting a nice crisp bass sound, you could hear a small tick instead. The sound clarity is definitely not all there. Call sound is good, but nowadays people text more than call.
Overall, the phone is not bad. Although it lacks features, it is a pretty good phone for people who refuse to buy an iPhone, or just want to be different from everybody else. It is a bit pricey to compete with other high end phones that provide more features for the price, so if you're debating on this phone versus an iPhone or Galaxy, you really have to think price versus value.

Amazing Sound Quality

I have to start off by saying that I am extremely amazed by the sound quality of these headphones. They are very compact and lightweight, you will barely notice the neckband around your neck, and will truly enjoy the amazing sound quality and features from these a Bose headphones.
As soon as I received these bad boys, I immediately tested them where it counted the most, at the gym. Pairing with my iPhone was extremely easy and quickly. I was connected in a matter of seconds, so absolutely no issues there. As soon as I turned these headphones on, I was amazed by the sound quality coming from them. They provide a crisp clear sound that truly allows you to focus on your workout. The bass quality is magnificent, and provides the perfect sound blend track after track.
On to my favorite feature in these headphones...noise canceling technology. I was blown away by the noise canceling capabilities of these headphones. It is something that I was truly not expecting from earbud style headphones. These blocked out 99% of the noise at the gym, which is absolutely helpful during my workout. I was on the treadmill and couldn't even hear the noise around me. The gym is a very noisy place, and the QuietComfort 30 Headphones performed flawlessly! I love how you can adjust the noise canceling feature to allow you to hear things around you when necessary. I was working out with a friend and was able to adjust this feature on the headphones. They allowed me to listen to my music while still allowing me to hear what my friend was saying. This is a BIG must if you are out in the streets and need to keep very close attention to your surroundings for safety purposes.
I truly recommend these headphones to anyone in the market for bluetooth headphones. Bose will truly not disappoint! You will love them.

Great system for a big house

First off, you have to love the name "Orbi," it just sounds so cool. I give them points for that right away. In all seriousness, the Orbi system is a really cool concept that deserves lots of credit. You have a router and satellites that link together to extend your network practically everywhere in your house.
I'll start off with the packaging. It comes in a really neat package that just makes this system so appealing. You get a router and a "satellite," which is pretty much a range extender. You get an ethernet cable and a power supply for each device. I really like how everything was packaged so neatly. The satellite and router are the same size, and look identical. They aren't too bulky, so they won't take much space wherever you decide to put them. They are pleasant to see, as they have a really elegant styling. I put the router in my living room, and the satellite in one of my bedrooms. The only downside to this system is that the power supplied are really bulky for what they are. They're around the same size as an Apple laptop's charger, so they're bulky.
The setup was not too bad. I guess I should've followed the instruction instead of going about my way, so I'll call that installer error. Once figured out, the connection from the satellite to the router was a breeze. Make sure you disconnect your modem, if you have one, and wait for a few seconds before connecting it back up. I connected the router and the satellite, and they pretty much did their thing automatically. This system can be installed by anyone, regardless expertise, so don't be afraid to try it yourself. If you have a big home, the only thing to worry about is the perfect location to place the satellite. This is also easy since your working with a colored coated system that will let you know, so that's as difficult as it would probably get. The only thing you are plugging in are the power supplies and the ethernet cable to the router.
After install, I ran a speed test right away to truly test this systems performance. I was surprised to see 172.77 download speeds, and 12.11 upload speeds from a 150mbps service. The speed test was consistent even after I connected all of my devices (Smart TV, multiple tablets, printer, laptop, phones). The speeds remained practically the same, even while streaming TV and using other devices. This is a Tri-band system, so that's always a BIG plus, AND it's MU-MIMO capable. The router has ethernet ports as well, so you can hardwire devices to it, if truly necessary. You'll pretty much be covered everywhere. I notices on my devices throughout the house that the signal was "excellent" while I was connecting them, even in the back of my house. I have no doubt that the signal will continue to be strong all the way to my detachable garage, which is truly a must for me.
Overall, Netgear's Orbi System is a really slick looking system that truly delivers. I checked out some of the other available systems that are in the market today, and have to say that this was the best looking, and was also packed with the latest technology. It looks good in my living room, and performs flawlessly. There is not very much to do to get it up and running. You also have the ability to connect multiple satellites if you are using this system in a big square footage home or business.
I would highly recommend this product to anybody that is in the market for a complete Wi-Fi system. From the looks, all the way down to performance, this is a great system to have if you have many devices and/or a big home. For all of those out there that aren't tech savvy, this is the system for you. Truly a plug-and-play system. You will not be disappointed.

Not what I expected from all of the hype...

Rand McNally's OverDrive 7 is an interesting concept that will attract many. I thought of it as a glorious tool for older vehicles that are in need of a minor update in the technology department. It is packed with some pretty good features, but some of those features come at a price.
The product comes in a nice compact package. The contents are nestled away in a thick foam surrounding. The contents include the actual tablet, charging devices, the mount, and antenna. Another thing, they also include an anti-glare screen protector and an auxiliary cable for easy connection.
On to the features. To be able to connect to your car's speakers, you have the option of using a clear FM signal, or the auxiliary cable. My wife's Prius, unfortunately, does not have an auxiliary port, so I tried the FM transmitting method. I have to say that the results were not great. There is just too much static noise, even with the supplied antenna that comes in the package.The loss of signal was constant, especially when the car was moving. The magnetic mount that's included comes equipped with a built in speaker, but it's just not enough to solely rely on. If you want to connect this device to your car, make sure you have an auxiliary port, or bluetooth to connect to it.
I paired my OverDryve device with my iPhone and have say that I was not impressed by it too much. One major let down when trying to use the GPS feature was the fact that when I used Siri to try to get directions, the directions weren't directly displayed in the OverDryve device. I wish it would have paired up directly to provide the directions on it, but it used Apple maps instead. That was a HUGE disappointment with OverDryve. I've searched through all of the setting to see if this is possible, but came up empty handed. Maybe this can be a software update for the future?
As mentioned, there are other great features that I am sure will come in handy if they truly work. These are: an adaptable TPS (Tire pressure monitoring system), and a rear backup camera. The only downside is that they DO NOT come with the OverDryve tablet, and are "add-ons" that come at a somewhat steep price, averaging $150 per. Unfortunately, I did not get to try any of these systems, but hope to do so in the future.
Another one of OverDryve's capabilities is a monitoring app. You will need to purchase an OBD device to allow it to work, AND you will also need to buy the actual app since you only get a 30 minute free trial (this sucks BIG TIME!).
Overall, many of this device's features come at an extra cost if you really want to use them. The add-ons aren't exactly cheap, and so far, the concept is truly a great one that they need to improve on. There is just too much left to desire from this device.
For the price, I just can't see myself recommending it to many people, Please improve on this idea!
