Another great device for smart home integration

For some time now, I had been looking into purchasing a smart thermostat for our home. I got the opportunity to give the Emerson - Sensi Touch Smart Programmable wi-fi thermostat, and I am happy I did.
The Emerson Smart thermostat not only looks elegant, but it comes with great features to back the looks. One of my favorites is the ability to connect it with my Google home. My existing smart home setup revolves around Google home and now my home's cooling and heating system has been integrated with this Emerson - Sensi Touch Smart Programmable thermostat.
The digital display is perfect and easy to read. The color shifting display is great and lets me know when my thermostat is on, and whether the AC or heat is on. It allows for full control of your cooling and heating system with your voice, smartphone, on directly on the thermostat itself.
As for installation, make sure you have the appropriate wires for installing the Emerson - Sensi Touch Smart Programmable thermostat. I completed the installation myself. Youtube was very helpful with this, as I had previously watched a bunch of videos on the process. The Sensi app also has a helpful DIY installation guide. The rest of the setup is a breeze with the Sensi app.
I am really happy that I got my hands on the Emerson - Sensi Touch Smart Programmable thermostat. Having the ability to control my HVAC system from anywhere is incredible.
I would definitely recommend the Emerson - Sensi Touch Smart Programmable thermostat to anyone.

Great all-in-one for a small business

The Canon - MAXIFY MegaTank GX6021 is a great option for small businesses and for home office as well. Best of all, Canon's all-in-one printer is pretty compact and does not take up much space.
It was just what I needed for my at-home notary business. Although my old printer was still going, I needed something that had higher printing speeds and had the ability to print legal sized documents. I knew I did not want an old archaic printer with ink cartridges, so the Canon - MAXIFY MegaTank GX6021 was the perfect solution for me.
For setup, just to get it going was not bad. I downloaded the Canon printer app and followed the provided instructions. Where it did get a bit tricky was trying to link cloud/web based services to the printer. It was a bit more of an involved process than with my other printers I've had. The task was not so bad, but it did get confusing at times. Canon should maybe find a solution to simplify this option.
Aside from that, I really love the ink tank size. They are great and I can see the ink lasting a really long time. The printing speeds are incredible with the Canon - MAXIFY MegaTank GX6021, especially if you are doing black and white printing. But even with color prints, the speed is great and the quality of the images are also great. Just like I expected from a Canon printer.
Although I have not tried printing on photo paper, I have no doubt in my mind that they quality will be great. The printer has a USB port built into it, so if you are looking to print directly from a USB, no issues there.
Another thing that I like about the Canon - MAXIFY MegaTank GX6021 is the display size. The display is large enough to facilitate navigating through and get things done without forcing you to squint your eyes. It is also touchscreen, and no issues with my fat fingers.
Overall, the Canon - MAXIFY MegaTank GX6021 is great. Canon should just work on facilitating the cloud/web based setup a bit more.
Still, I would highly recommend the Canon - MAXIFY MegaTank GX6021 to anyone.

Great on-the-go wireless vlogging mic

Finally an affordable microphone solution for content creation! The Aluratek - Wireless Vlogging Lapel Microphone is such a convenient device to have when on the go. I love how you can package the mic and adapter into the charging case, which is very compact itself. So, you can charge it whenever you're not using it and be ready to go in a moments notice. Not only is it compact, but it is also lightweight, so you can easily carry it with you wherever you go.
The setup is as easy as plugging the adapter in to your phone, switching the lapel mic on, and you are ready to vlog wherever you go. No need to go through your phone settings to make a connection. There is one downside to this and that is that I was not able to connect the adapter due to interference with my Otterbox Commuter series case. A slimmer case may work with the Aluratek - Wireless Vlogging Lapel Microphone.
Overall, the audio quality is good for an on-the-go microphone. For the price, the Aluratek - Wireless Vlogging Lapel Microphone is great. It has been a very handy tool to have when I'm out in car shows, or just about any other event.
So, aside from me not being able to connect the adapter with my phone case on, the Aluratek - Wireless Vlogging Lapel Microphone is great. You really can't go wrong for the price and value that you get from it.
I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Movie nights just got better!

It's incredible what a bit of lighting effect can do for a room, and for a movie experience. For some time now, I had been wanting to create a theatre like movie environment for family movie nights. When the opportunity came to get my hands on the new Govee Dreamview TV strip lights, I jumped on it.
The hardest part of the entire process can be the mounting of the lights. If you have a fixed mount setup, you will have to most likely remove the tv to attach the lights and camera to your TV. Luckily for me, I have a swivel mounted system on my TV and was able to extend the TV out to get the light strip and camera mounted. You also want to make sure that there is enough room on top of the TV, between the TV and sealing, for the camera. The installation of the strip and camera is straightforward.
Once the actual light and camera is installed, you move on to app part of installation. The app is great and the instructions for calibration, visual effects, etc. are great. The calibration part is time consuming, but nothing too bad.
Once you are done, enjoy an incredible movie watching experience with an incredible backlight effect. It really makes family movie nights that much better. My son loves it!
I would highly recommend the Govee Dreamview strip lights to anyone!

Great performing drive

I’m doing bar studies right now, so I needed a way to have my study aids and videos everywhere I went. I thought about a USB drive, but prefer the reliability and speeds of solid state drives.
The Samsung T7 Shield was a great option for me, so I went with it. One of my main reasons for going with the T7 is, like I said, solid state drives are far more reliable than the old portable hard drives with moving parts. I had an old WD portable hard drive that quit working on me after only a few times used. The thing looks new, and practically was new. I tried a few things to try to fix it, but nothing worked. So, I went with the T7.
As soon as I received the T7 shield, I moved close to 1tb of data (videos, audios files, and docs). The wiring speed were great. The drive did get a bit hot, but I didn’t have any issues getting all of my files saved to the drive.
As for security, you have the ability to setup a code so that only you can access it. Just make sure not to lose your code, as there is an explicit warning of not being able to recover if you forget.
Overall, I am very happy with my Samsung T7 shield. The rugged protection is great. It is water resistant and dust resistant.
I would highly recommend the T7 shield.

Good vehicle tracking option

The Cube vehicle tracker is a good alternative to other tracking devices on the market. It's pretty slim and can be installed easily in any vehicle or motorcycle.
Being a car enthusiast, I needed a way to keep track of my cars. I have a '72 Nova, '74 Corvette, 01 Camaro, and DC2 GSR Integra. There are quite a few options for tracking devices, but Cube holds a pretty good reputation in the tracking community.
The opportunity came up to give it a try, and I must say that it does not disappoint. Frist, the pairing and activation is a straightforward process that anyone can do. You download the Cube app, add your device, input basic information, choose your service level, and you're up and going in no-time.
For the vehicle installation, I used zipties and a piece of padding material underneath the device to help with vibration. I wanted some kind of protection for the device, so that was the best I could come up wit. Cube sells a mounting device for the vehicle tracker, as well as a hardwire cable. I skipped on the mounting device, but definitely went with the hardwire option. You don't want it to run out of battery when you most needed.
My only complaint about the cube is service related. I found their service options to be a bit on the steep side, even for a yearly service subscription. Aside from the Cube vehicle tracker, I use another well known branded device that is top notch, and the service is a bit more affordable.
Aside from service cost, the Cube has done a great job at helping me keep track of my vehicles. I would definitely recommend the Cube Vehicle GPS tracker to anyone.

Elegant and informative

I love my new ScanWatch 44mm Horizon. Simple, yet elegant and informative. I love the ability to check on bpm, oxygen, steps, ECG, spo2, and so much more. The sleep tracker is also a very handy tool to have to check for sleep disturbances and keep you informed.
Another major plus is the fact that the ScanWatch 44mm Horizon watch comes with extra links, a sports band, and all of the tools necessary to make needed adjustments! I love it!
The app is great and very easy to manage. You connect to your watch via the app, and the step-by-step app guide is extremely easy to follow.
Band adjustments are easy to make with the included tools. I was able to make adjustments to the links in around five minutes. You get the hammer, pin removal tool, and a holding block for the band.
Coming from an Apple Watch and to the ScanWatch 44mm Horizon, I have been wearing the ScanWatch 44mm Horizon much more often than the Apple Watch. It goes great with business attire, and when out and about, you change the wrist bands.
I would definitely recommend the ScanWatch 44mm Horizon watch to anyone.

Cools great and is quiet

With summer fast approaching, I needed to find a way to keep our home cool. We have one other window ac unit already, but needed another.
The Insignia™ - 350 Sq. Ft. 8,000 BTU U-Shaped Window Air Conditioner seemed like a good option, and I am very happy that we got the opportunity to try it out.
The installation is a bit advanced, so be mindful of that when picking any window AC. It can be a bit heavy, so be careful. Once the bracketry is all assembled, you can place the AC unit on your window, and the rest is history.
Overall, the Insignia™ - 350 Sq. Ft. 8,000 BTU U-Shaped Window Air Conditioner is great. We tried it out today since it was a pretty warm day and it cooled our large living room down enough to keep us comfortable. I'd say that one of the best attributes of this unit is how quiet it is. Compared to our old window AC, this Insignia™ - 350 Sq. Ft. 8,000 BTU U-Shaped Window Air Conditioner is so much quieter. It is energy star rated, so hopefully our electrical bill doesn't go up too much. There is an eco mode button as well.

Great Gaming Mouse!

The SteelSeries - Aerox 9 Wireless gaming mouse is an incredible accessory to my gaming rig. The mouse truly is ultralightweight, and looks great! I love being able to see the mechanical side of things, and the meshed see-through design displays the internal components of the SteelSeries - Aerox 9 Wireless mouse with an elegant backlight display.
The SteelSeries - Aerox 9 Wireless is extremely responsive during gaming, and just right for normal computing activities. I have had issues with other gaming wireless mouses that move the scroller too fast and cause me to miss my intended targets on screen. This mouse provides precise movement in just about any gaming/computing activity.
It was SO easy setting it up via Bluetooth. Toggle the switch to the Bluetooth setting, go into your Bluetooth setting in your device, and select the Aerox 9 mouse from the list. I had it connected in under one minute.
Something else that I really love about the SteelSeries - Aerox 9 Wireless mouse is the programable button on the side of the mouse. They are numbered 1-10 and can be mapped out to your desired configuration. Although it can take a bit getting used to, it is a handy tool to have.
The SteelSeries - Aerox 9 Wireless mouse includes a data cable, extension adapter, and a USB Type-C wireless dongle, which is perfect for Mac users.
