Great camera.

I have always been into photography, but I am not a professional. I love the art of taking photos, but don't have any professional expertise. I am into tech and think this camera bridges the gap between a basic point and shoot and offering higher level features, like manual changing f-stop, brightness, saturation, etc. before you take photos. It also has amazing zoom 200x total magnification, as well as great resolution 4K photos. The great thing with Best Buy is you get a free photobook to put all your 4K photos in after your trip, vacation, etc. I don't go on many vacations, so capturing the memory and beauty of nature when we do go is very important to me. This camera delivered. It has great features, great zoom, great mag., great res., AMAZING price, and comes with a photobook. Great buy!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Zoom
It want a camara with a great zoom and focus, what or where or how should I look for this feature in a camara.
Two things. You have optical zoom and digital zoom. Optical zoom means the lens is changing focal length and therefore makes the image large or smaller using optical physics. Digital zoom is the camera blowing up the image, this will be ok at lower magnifications, but if the digital zoom is too high, the image will become blurry and distorted. Look for cameras with high optical zoom ~30-50x and digital zoom of ~2-4x. Hope this helps.

Software
I noticed there's no software included with this package. How does one upload a video to the computer for better viewing?
The camera stores images using a memory card. Try and see if your computer has an SDXC card slot for direct transfer. You might also try a USB 2.0 cable, or the built in wifi capabilities to transfer the photos to your iPhone or iPad via the Canon iOS app.

Wi-fi with my iPad and iphone
There is a corresponding app for iOS, which can help you pair it to your phone or iPad. Check it out. Also, consult the manual for more advanced wifi features.

No built-in flash? How does it perform in low light indoors?
Like a restaurant with dim lighting or out on the street at night etc.

The camera does come with a builtin flash. Check the manual if you need help locating it.
