Greatest Router and Plex Server!

Let me start off talking about the set up I had before the X10. I had an old NETGEAR router and a plex server running off of my network storage device. The router worked ok, with very few hic-ups, but the network storage device ran PLEX horribly.
I was at the point were I would just transfer a movie / video to a thumb stick, instead of streaming through the NAS. Quality was horrible within my network and even worse when I was remote.
I was lucky enough to be a part of the first look program to receive the x10, and it has completely changed my opinion on plex. I am now transcoding at 1080p through my ROUTER. I just have a simple WD passport plugged into my x10 and it runs perfectly (within network and remote). It takes up much less space than my previous set up too.
It was much easier to set up than the NAS server. A router set up is usually always the same, but in my experience, my Plex servers have always taken more effort than it should. The x10 took no longer than 10 minutes to set up with Plex. All you have to do is enable it on routerlogin.net.
Overall, a near perfect experience with the x10. Plug, Play, and Watch! Can't wait to get more content on my new Plex router!

Awesome Modem! Increases your Comcast Speed!

This modem is great! Honestly, I never saw the importance of having a higher end cable modem until I got this device here. I usually spent my money upgrading my wireless routers, and thought it was sufficient to get the best speed possible. Turns out, having a good modem is just as important (if not more important) than having a good wireless router. I was lucky enough to get this product for free through NETGEAR's friends and family testing program, and have had great results after installing it. I found that now only did my speed increase, but I am getting slightly more than what I was told I would get! I would definitely recommend this to a friend who sees the importance of high speed internet.

Perfect solution for large homes!

This extender is much more powerful than any other extender that I have used. I set this up in my parents house because my siblings and parents constantly complained about not getting coverage throughout the whole house. I was able to get this item for free through the NETGEAR friends and family program.
It was extremely easy to set up too! All I had to do is plug it into the wall, the router was able to pick it up. I used this additional extender with the bundle Nighthawk DST, and now my family gets full coverage in their house!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Product! Fixed WiFi Drops

I've been having issues for months with losing signal in my house. As a college student, I need to have stable internet for most of my online classes, so I needed to look for a different router. Fortunately, I was able to join the family and friends program for NETGEAR, and received the r6400 for free. Once I plugged it in, I has immediately able to connect all my devices without a drop in speed. So far I have not had any signal lose as well! This is a great product and I highly recommend it if you are looking for something to fix signal lose.
