Beware of top Diamond Glass it is plexiglass

I purchased this in September 2015 and LG's CS would not step up and fix their so called top that lifts. The top says Diamond Glass but in fact it is PLEXIGLASS and scratches and will separate from the metal top as mine did. Took 3 months before they final send a repair man and he did not know how to remove the cover so I helped him so we could get it done. LG's CS dept needs to improve. Customer should not have to fight in order to have the product repaired.
It is a nice dryer but I would warn anyone that putting a laundry basket or anything that could scratch the surface to look at something else.
I would recommend this to a friend!
